24.01.2022 There is absolutely nothing better than football at Kambah 201.

24.01.2022 Support of U23 shirt sponsor.

24.01.2022 In todays final game for our NPLW U17s. A single strike by Olympic was all that split the teams. A great effort by all the girls. Michael Aldred should be very pleased with their continued development.

22.01.2022 WPL news The WPL program would like to say a big thank you to Lee Colson last years Under 15 WPL coach. Lee has decided not to coach in the WPL next season. Head Coach Michael Aldred commented Lee did an excellent job last season, he came into the role very late and firstly did a great job in recruiting players for the squad. Secondly the manner in which they performed, Lee deserves enormous credit for. Lee has a great ability to pull a team together and make them feel they can achieve anything they want to, this was certainly clear to see in the way they performed last season. I know all the players enjoyed his coaching last season and I wish Lee all the best in his next coaching opportunity. Please join us in thanking Lee for all his work in 2020

22.01.2022 The TUFC Board would like to wish all players, coaches, managers, supporters and followers a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year in 2021. To all our partners both big and small we would like to thank you all for you generous support during the year and we look forward to working with you all in 2021.

19.01.2022 The dream continues.

18.01.2022 The NPLW U13 girls played a hard FOUGHT game against CUA this morning at O'Connor Enclosed. CUA took an early lead through B Young in the 10th minute and went into the half time break leading one nil. However, this bunch of girls were not going to let them have an easy second half and came out determined to show the improvement and fighting spirit they have. R Hannen scored in the 62nd minute to end the season with a couragous draw. Well done to Brent Chick and all the girls.

18.01.2022 The NPLW U15s took on a determined Monaro team at O'Connor this morning. In a game that showed what finals football is all about neither side gave an inch. However, a great goal to tuggies ensured the team came away with a very hard fought one nil victory. Both teams should be very proud of their display today. Well done to Lee Colson and the team on a very good season.

Bella is based in Sydney and will next year be looking to play closer to home. Every week Bella undertook the trip to Canberra to put her body on line in both the seniors and reserve teams. The dedication in both the travel and the playing two games back to back is an example for all within the club. 08.01.2022 This weekend at Tuggeranong United is the Adam Fry Memorial Round. We will raise money for Epilepsy ACT and remember our friend Adam. Adam Fry was a Tuggies social league player who tragically died as a result of his epilepsy in 2004. Every year we remember him and raise money for this important cause. The disrupted 2020 season has meant that a dedicated round is the safest and most practical way for us to do this. We ask all our players and families to donate an amount if th...ey can to Epilepsy ACT at this weekend's game, or online using https://www.givenow.com.au/epilepsyact . Managers will be able to receive donations, and we will have donation buckets at Wanniassa on Saturday as well. Epilepsy can be a confronting and misunderstood disorder. Epilepsy ACT provides information and support to sufferers, their families and their employers in the region. Your donation will help a family or an individual to cope with their condition. Thanks for your participation.

03.01.2022 Good evening coaches, managers, families and tuggies supporters. TUFC would like to announce that the final round, this Saturday 26 September for U5-U9 teams will be ‘Let Kids be Kids Round’. We want to ensure we celebrate the 2020 season we nearly didn't have.... The behaviour of people on the sidelines of junior sport can have a profound impact on kids' participation and enjoyment of sport. 2020 has been difficult enough so we want our last game of the season to be enjoyable for all our wonderful players. The idea behind this round is that children will get to play in a positive, criticism-free environment with Parents, supporters and coaches on the sidelines/field bound by a number of rules. There is to be no shouting, commenting or directing of players or negative gestures from the sidelines and coaches . Clapping & cheering encouraged for goals scored and for good play from both sides No commenting or directing of the referee in charge of game Tips for Spectators and coaches Be a good role model. Children watch and learn from you, so make sure you set a good example. Avoid a ‘win at all costs’ attitude. Although you may think winning is important, the focus for junior sport should be on fun. Help both teams have a fair go and enjoy the game. It’s not about how many goals are scored, it’s about skill development in a positive environment Don’t be critical of coaches or referees. Many are volunteers who give their time to make sport possible for all our children, and some are just learning. If you have some constructive advice for them, leave it until after the game or have a chat with the head coach or referee. Please see attached PDF promoting and providing information on the round. We will have these posters up around the clubhouse this coming Saturday. Please ensure all supporters at your teams game are aware of this. We hope this will conclude the season in a positive and fun way. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this. Stan Mitchell TUFC President
