25.01.2022 Tugun Surf Club Update WE ARE OPEN We will remain open for all of our members, guests, visitors, and the wider Tugun community. We are keeping a very close eye on all updates given to us from Clubs Queensland, State, and Federal governments. This is unchartered territory, and we are playing this the best way we can, without compromising anyone’s health or safety. We have installed additional hand sanitizer stations both back of house for staff and front of house for our cus...tomers, as well as an increase in cleaning procedures for all ‘Heavy Traffic’ areas (including pokies, TAB and bar tops). Obviously, if you feel unwell, have been around someone who is unwell, or have just returned from overseas, we ask that you follow the government's recommendation to self-isolate, and not run the risk of infecting anyone else. Our number one concern here is to get through this as unscathed and healthy as possible, so we can further service the Tugun community, and thank everyone for their support during this difficult time. 13.01.2022 As some of you may be aware, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has instructed all pubs, clubs, and hotels to shut down, effective 12 midday tomorrow. This, unfortunately, includes us. We will not be opening the doors tomorrow and will remain closed until further notice. We would like to take this time to thank each and every one of our members, reciprocal members and all of our guests for supporting this local club in the last few weeks. We really appreciate it. But don't fret too much! We'll be back soon, and welcome everyone to join us when the doors open again!!!
