14.01.2022 UNCLE MAX The word genius isn't thrown around about someone without too much conviction. But Uncle Max was just this in my eyes. He had so much belief in his abilities to fix repair or even conjure up the impossible. Speaking about impossible the man I idolized was just that he was a determined being and as stubborn as they come.... There was no telling him and what to do or speaking about things foreign to him without him replaying with the usual Fuck Off or Get Fucked. Yes Uncle Max did it his way or no way at all. I know I'm not ready to say Goodbye to him. There's a wealth of information that I wanted to question him about and pick his brain to learn his craft but it was always met with the Footy's on or watching the cricket so another time. That time didn't come and in those years I watched this hero figure fading in the distance of alcohol cigarettes self loathing and dispair with nothing I could do except to abide by his wishes and shut up leave him alone and fuck off. I never stopped looking up to this man. He was my hero from the age of 7 and this status never wained from me.
