25.01.2022 Hello to all families and community members of tullamore preschool child care centre. My name is Sally Male I am the director here at Tullamore and I look forward to meeting you all and your families. A quick reminder that the preschool days and hours of operation have changed this year starting on the 5th February 2019. Long Day Care is now operating all four days with the hours being 8.30am - 5.30pm. ... Preschool days are now operating Tuesday and Wednesday with the hours being 8.30am - 4.00pm. If your child needs to attend longer on the preschool days till 5.30pm an extra casual fee of $10.00 will apply which is optional but there if required. Staff Arrangements are as followed - I will be here at Tullamore PSCCC all four days from 8.30am - 5.30pm. Sarah will be here Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am - 5.30pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 11.30am - 2.30pm. Irene will be here Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.30am - 2.30pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.30am - 5.30pm. Anne will be here Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.00am - 2.00pm. If you have any questions regarding the above changes do not hesitate to ask myself, Sarah or Irene. I look forward to meeting you all over the next coming weeks. Sally Male

25.01.2022 We had a great first week back!! We have been busy creating mermaids in the sandpit, exploring magnets, sorting colours using fine motor skills, being creative and imaginative through paint and craft experiences, exploring tactile experiences through play dough and magic sand, building cubbies the old fashion way with moving furniture around and the use of blankets and sheets plus lots more!!! We are also looking forward to all our preschool children starting back next Tuesday

24.01.2022 Here is just a few new items from our delivery we received. The furniture allows for the children to view the toys and resources available to them and also offers a wider range of resources during play allowing them to make choices through play base experiences. The shelving also allows for the room to look aesthetically pleasing for the children to become engaged in play.

23.01.2022 Another great community gesture this week came from Gary who kindly sent two bottles of milk down to our TPSCCC with one of our staff members whilst doing her local shop before coming to work! Thank you very much for your thought our children enjoyed this very much as we made chocolate milk to have with our cake that Sarah had baked!! What an amazing afternoon tea we had!

21.01.2022 Lots of action this afternoon at the preschool! Our cubby arrived and assembled on sight thanks to ricks timber works and custom cubbies in Forbes. The children are going to be super surprised and excited to see this in their outdoor space tomorrow!

21.01.2022 Woolworths Earn and Learn is now underway so if you are shopping at woolies please do not forget to put your stickers in the Tullamore preschool and Child Care Centre box. 20.01.2022 Just a few photos of what we have been up the last few weeks! We have been very creative in all our activities whilst inside and during outdoors were loving all the crunchy leaves that have fallen!

17.01.2022 We love our family and community members being apart of our school! On Tuesday one of our families kindly baked us some cupcakes with pink icing and sprinkles! We enjoyed this special treat outside in the beautiful weather. Its safe to say that the photos show how much the kids enjoyed this. Thank you Tara and Ashley.

15.01.2022 One of our family members bought in some juicy watermelon for the children to share. Most of us tried a piece at morning tea time and thought it was yummy!! Here at TPSCCC we continue to encourage healthy eating. Thank you Juanita for your generous thought. We love being apart of our community and also our community being a part of our school so if you would like to come in and visit us or do an activity with the children wether it be cooking, reading a story, art and craft, anything!! Please feel welcome to do so we would love to see you.

13.01.2022 All ready to kick off 2020 tomorrow! Long day care resumes tomorrow the 21st January, looking forward to seeing all our families and children after a long break. Preschool will resume Wednesday 5th February.

13.01.2022 The TPSCCC children were very excited to meet their new class pet! Last week we spoke about maybe getting a pet that we would have to care for and be kind and gentle to. And also like any pet there is responsibilities that we all agreed to follow in order for us to get a pet! We then looked online at the pet shop and chose this little rabbit! Hopefully today we will come to an agreement with a name.

13.01.2022 Just a reminder that tomorrow is a public holiday and we will see you all again next week. It is also school holidays starting next week so Preschool will resume on Wednesday 29th April. Have a great Easter weekend from Tullamore Preschool and Child Care Centre.

12.01.2022 Just a few photos of what we have been up to lately, the preschoolers have been learning some new active songs which we are loving during music and movement group times. We have also been further developing our scissor skills through cutting experiences. We have also been working on name recognition, identifying shapes and numeracy through tracing experiences. Next week we look forward to all our preschool friends returning to school.

Tickets will be $1.00 each! You can purchase tickets at the preschool and also at venues over the Jimmy Barnes weekend! Prizes will be drawn at the TPSCCC Christmas concert on the 6th December.

08.01.2022 Yesterday we walked on an adventure to the MPS to help the residence and staff celebrate Pirate Day. We had so much fun! We first learnt how to speak Pirate and a few fun facts about Pirates! We then sang a few of our favourite songs to our friends there at the MPS followed by a nice biscuit and drink for morning tea! Kate then had a treasure chest for us to crack. We each took turns of trying to crack the chest open to see what loot was inside! We were all very excited once we cracked the treasure chest opened and found the best treasure of all! Chocolate gold coins! What an adventure! Thank you to our friends and staff at the MPS for allowing us to share Pirate day with you all! Look forward to our next visit.

07.01.2022 Here are some photos to have a look at from the last couple of weeks with some of the activities the children have been doing and some of the things their been up to like going to the MPS for a bears picnic, some pizza making and some natural Play-doh playing.

06.01.2022 On Thursday we enjoyed some yummy cupcakes made by Isabel and her mum. We sat out in the nice warm sun as we ate them enjoying each others company through social interactions. We love our families and friends being involved within our centre so thanks again Isabel and Kristy

06.01.2022 A morning adventure to the local library today! While there we got to explore the Librarys toys and of course the books! We were also fortunate enough to have the librarian read us a story. We then chose a book each to borrow for the week which we read throughout the week back at school. This is now a weekly visit so we are able To enjoy the library and all it offers and also return our books and choose new ones for the week. Thank you to the town library for having us and making us feel so welcome

05.01.2022 On Friday we received a special delivery!! Our indoor furniture has arrived!! We thank Judy and Juanita from CRT for the use of their forklift and help unloading our special delivery! A big thanks to Tallis for also helping load and unload and the use of his Ute and trailer. There is no way we could have done it without you guys! Great community support! The children are sure going to enjoy the new resources in term 3

04.01.2022 We are very luck to have been asked to be apart of this program. The mud kitchen looks fantastic and we thank everyone involved the children will enjoy this in the outdoor environment next term!

04.01.2022 Children learn so much through play and play experiences allowing them to develop the necessary skills they will need as they grow. It is so nice to see the children play and work together as a team where they are learning so much including social skills, team work, negotiations, delegation, Exploring nature and the environment, communication, instructions, imagination, creativity, being part of a group, self worth and much more! Here are just a few things that we have been up to and learning through play!

So here is our vacation care pictures if you would like to have a look some of the things we did involved planting seeds, cactus paper plants, plants Vs zombies cupcakes, tie-dying, wacky photo shoot, guess the movie, pizza and popcorn bar, building a blanket fort, messy science experiments, lava lamps, best dressed mad scientist and best dressed Halloween costume, balloon rockets, ice cream lab, scary scavenger hunt in the dark, scary tenpin bowling, mystery box, pin the spider on the web, scary cooking and lots more fun activities the kids had a great time for vacation care thank you to everyone who come and helped organise it, it was great fun

03.01.2022 First day of Vacation Care yesterday! It was busy but fun day!! Tye dying, pot decorating, park fun, craft, cooking, games and much more!! Today is going to be just as much fun!

02.01.2022 Learning environments are now set up ready for the PSCCC children to engage in. Each learning environment is not only allowing the children to engage in play but much much more. Under each picture is explained why these learning environments are so important during childs play.
