25.01.2022 Unfortunately the weather had other ideas about us winning the QLD State Championships today, instead choosing to drop around 100-200mm of water on the ground. Maybe the QLD weather gods were scared for their state? Who knows! Given the circumstances band breakfast beers may be in order.. A massive thank you to the Ipswich Thistle Pipe Band for the hard work they put in to organising today. Sorry for the way it turned out

07.01.2022 Today we would like to acknowledge the 100th Anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Somme, and remember those men who never returned from the campaign. A special mention is necessary for those men who marched forward armed only with their Pipes. Lest we forget.
