12.01.2022 Loud Shirt Day 2020 is approaching! Are you ready to make some noise on 23 October 2020? My brother, Eli, was born with a hearing loss and has been supported by... Hear and Say for many years. Eli has a bone bridge and a sound bridge implant which allows him to communicate with others. This makes a world of a difference for someone like Eli. Last year, Eli was a loud shirt ambassador for Hear and Say and won Tully the title of Queensland's loudest town raising a phenomenal $13,410 with all profit to Hear and Say. These donations help children access early intervention services and support people with hearing loss like Eli to access speech and hearing services such as cochlear, bone bridge and sound bridge implants. This year, we will be raffling a brand spanking new Thermomix TM6 (valued at $2,269) with all profit donated to Hear and Say. $20 per ticket Maximum 200 tickets (1 in 200 chance of winning a TM6!) TM6 will be delivered to your door anywhere in Australia Raffle drawn on Loud Shirt Day 23 October 2020 To purchase tickets, please email your name and phone number to Eli's mum, Linda, at [email protected] and she will provide bank details. Alternatively, you can private message me. Watch this space for more info on where in Tully tickets will be available to purchase. Let's get behind this great foundation and see how loud we can get! Please share this post Hear and Say

09.01.2022 The Tully Support Centre is ‘Going Purple’ in May 2021, to raise Awareness to Domestic and Family Violence issues facing men and women in our communities. This was a huge success in 2019 and 2020 throughout the Cassowary Coast with over 30 businesses going purple in the Cassowary Coast Region. This year, the Tully Support Centre would love to see more businesses get behind this event to bring awareness to the Cassowary Coast. Everyone is effected by the ripple effect that Dom...estic Violence causes, whether it be a friend or family member. This is a way we can show support outwardly to the community that they are not alone. Also, you can deck out your shop in purple for the month of May and wear purple during the week of the 17th and 21st of May to show your support. The Tully Support Centre is asking that you post your business on Facebook and #tullysupportcentre #goingpurple.

09.01.2022 In May the Tully Support Centre asked the businesses in the Cassowary Coast to 'go purple' in order to bring awareness to Domestic and Family violence in our region. Thank you to all the businesses that supported us and turned the region purple for the month of May 2020

01.01.2022 This week the Tully Kindy talked about the purple flags around the town and what they mean with the kindergarten children. We talked about when we see the purple flags it can remind us to be kind towards others. We talked about helping our friends and looking after them if they need help or if we see that someone is not being Kind to them. We celebrated being kind and helpful with Purple Hearts and face painting and some of us used our kind gentle hands to hold our spiny leaf insect pets we are caring for. #tullysupportcentre #cassowarycoastgoespurple
