25.01.2022 Heres one of the kitchens we have being shipped tomorrow for a kindergarten. All play kitchens for commercial use are made with side opening ovens and stainless steel bowls. 24.01.2022 So we finally got the keys to our factory yesterday It's been just over 11 weeks since we were actually approved but within days of approval Mr Dan put us all into stage 4 lockdown which meant our agent was unable to get us into the factory in time. We have been in business for almost 13 months, working from home but always ensuring that we produced high quality items. Never in a million years did we think we would survive the first year of business as it's generally the ...hardest part! Our first sale was a childcare centre so we immediately had to register our business and take all the right steps but since then all we have done is watch our business grow more and more every day. We will never forget our first sale and how it motivated us to give this a go! From having no start up money and taking the risk anyways to being able to quit our jobs and do this full time. A case of "Started from the bottom now we're here" More struggles and hard times coming I'm sure but I'm so excited to keep going on this adventure and to see what this next chapter holds for us I'm so proud of the team we make! We are so grateful for each one of our customers helping to get us here aswell. 10.01.2022 Stage 4 update! Still open for business. At this moment we will keep taking orders. Unfortunately there will be some changes and longer wait times which we are unsure of just yet but we aim to get them out asap. If you have ordered, your order will still be delivered. We cant gaurantee they will arrive in time for birthdays or estimated dates but they will be coming so please be patient with us. ... We are also unable to guarantee your sink colours! They may be black, grey, aqua or white. Stickers will be left on them so they can be exchanged for the colour you would like from your local bunnings as our local stock is low. Some of the orders were marked as free local delivery. We will be reaching out over the next few days to find the best possible way to get your orders delivered. As a trade we are still able to get stock needed from our local hardware stores or have them delivered to us. Unfortunately we will be switching off free local delivery for the next 6 weeks as we dont want to risk any unnecessary trips. We were due to move over to our factory next week but we are still deemed as working from home as we havent made the move yet. This means we can continue running but it also means we will have a 2 year old and 9 year old home with us. Im due in approximately 7 weeks, September/October. I will have to have another c-section so there is likely to be some delays whilst I am recovering. You will definitely be kept up to date as we progress. Christmas orders will not be affected at all and Jake will still be working on everyones orders whilst I recover. Remember when purchasing from us, youre supporting a small family business. 05.01.2022 Update! We are temporarily extending our free delivery radius and we will continue business as usual throughout the next 6 weeks of lockdown here in Victoria. Know that we continued to maintain our distance even when restrictions were lifted originally as we have kids of our own, family whom are at a higher risk and I am almost 27 weeks pregnant. We will continue to take every precaution possible to ensure both our customers and ourselves stay safe. We encourage you to disin...fect your items upon arrival but we will also be disinfecting items prior to shipping or delivery. Local delivery is contactless but we do appreciate a wave or a shout out to say "Hello" or "Thank you" as it can make us still feel normal and we miss meeting our local customers, having a chat or shaking hands but we all need to remember to keep our distance and stay safe.
