09.01.2022 Our Sub-branch monthly meeting will be on at 5.30 this afternoon at the Youth Room of the Memorial Hall. We had a quick meeting - with four in attendance. There were a number of items discussed:... - where to place the "ANZAC Day 2020 we remembered" plaque; - placing an information sign at Union Jack War Memorial regarding the location of the school (courtesy of Tumbarumba Historical Society); and - the District meeting scheduled for 4 October. 06.01.2022 One hundred and four years ago Jack Adams from Tumbarumba was killed in Action at Poziers. Today he was remembered in the Last Post ceremony at The Australian War Memorial, Canberra. You can watch the ceremony and hear Jack's story via the link below.
