23.01.2022 It's not all about bikes. This jolly bunch headed off to walk the rail trail from Rosewood back in to Tumbarumba. The cloud was clearing to a perfect day to enjoy the countryside and take in the views of the Snowy Mountains. One way shuttle either end of the trail $12 per person for walkers, $15 per cyclist and bike.... Please book in advance 0406 376605

We can carry up to eight bikes, and you, and all your gear to a drop off or pick up point and save all the transport hassles. Rail Trail shuttle starts at $15 per person and bike, less for bigger groups, and for walkers $12. Drop off or pick up at Rosewood depending on which direction you are riding. Whether you're riding the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail or checking out some of the other great rides in the region, we can take you there. And when you're done riding and need a meal or some well earned refreshments we've partnered with some of Tumbarumba's best venues to make some great package deals. You're welcome! 20.01.2022 Build it and they will come. And in all weather! It seems little can deter cyclists who want to be among the early adopters to try out the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail. These folks from down Albury way were dead keen and kept smiles on their faces the whole way. Unfortunately an untimely mechanical breakdown meant they had to call it a day before making it to Rosewood but we loaded them up got them into a warm bus a brought them home.... There are a number of intermediate points along the trail if you are forced to stop or if you only want to do a partial ride with kids - or people with less puff - and we'll do our best to accommodate you. No matter what the weather. ps the two lads in the group came out again the next day and completed the full ride Just $15 per cyclist or $12 per walker one way along the trail. 09.01.2022 As they say in the trade: That's a wrap! Out in the pre-dawn, Mount Tumbarumba Vineyard picked the last of their 2021 vintage, their Pinot Noir. After a very tough year everyone is mightily pleased and looking forward to these in the bottle. Makers are hoping to have some young '21 vintage available from June and whites coming in the spring by which time our region's cellar doors should be back in full swing!...
