25.01.2022 I fabricated this sign board from 3mm Cor10 (Cor10 is a grade of steel which after initially rusting, protects the steel from further oxidization) and 75 x 50mm gal RHS for a third party, who installed the sign and fitted the stainless steel lettering.

24.01.2022 Over the next couple of weeks, Im going to post some examples of work I did while I was employed by Doyalson Welding. Ill start with a balustrade I fabricated for a residence at Catherine Hill Bay.

24.01.2022 I put my new All States sign up today The pilgrims from all he lands will come to gaze apon its beauty.

23.01.2022 Another job from my time with Doyalson Welding. I fabricated this security gate from 32 x 32 mm gal RHS, for a coffee shop at Budgewoy

22.01.2022 This week I came to the conclusion that Number 2 will at some stage require a jib. As things are a bit quiet at the moment now would be the time to knock one up. The problem would be, where could I store it? Then with a blinding flash of inspiration, I realised that I could modify my existing towing rig to accept a removable boom. Now all I need is a hook and a tin of cat yellow and Im good to go.

20.01.2022 Another project I was given at Doyalson was this chain wire security gate for a local business.

19.01.2022 Patios Coast to Coast where having trouble getting their aluminium extrusions, in and out of their storage compound. They commissioned me to fabricate this trolley, on which they can stack the extrusions, which allows them to push it through the gate instead of having to lift it over the gate posts with the forklift.

19.01.2022 When the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, rebuilt the lookout at Pelican Beach, in the Wirrabalong National Park. I was given the task of fabricating the balustrade panels. With 40 x 8 uprights, 40 x 10 horizontals and 40 nb pipe hand rails. The panels where hot dipped galvanised, ready for instillation by the service.

19.01.2022 Its been a while since I posted , so while its quiet I thought I might sneak a couple in. The first one is of a chain wire mesh feeder I recently built. Its designed to be attached vertically to a machine, put a roll of mesh in, tie it off to the first post and drive to the last post.

18.01.2022 Another project I've been involved with is the restoration of an old MacDonald tractor, having completed the front wheels the rear ones are next.

17.01.2022 I just finished fabricating the Dragon Boat Trolley for Dragons Abreast Toukley. now of to the galvanizers

16.01.2022 I put my new All States sign up today The pilgrims from all he lands will come to gaze apon it's beauty.

16.01.2022 It's been a while since I posted , so while it's quiet I thought I might sneak a couple in. The first one is of a chain wire mesh feeder I recently built. It's designed to be attached vertically to a machine, put a roll of mesh in, tie it off to the first post and drive to the last post.

15.01.2022 I delivered the dragon boat trolley on Wednesday, i thought it looked better with the boat on it.

13.01.2022 An interesting project at Doyalson Welding was this antenna mast. It was designed with a base that was bolted to a concrete foundation. The mast was then fitted to the base and then utilising a winch arrangement, the mast pivots to the vertical position, then inner mast is extended to its full height. Although its operation is not clear in these photos I am hopeful that I can get in contact with the client and maybe obtain some photos of it in position.

13.01.2022 A local oil recycling company required a bin to put oil filters in after they crushed them. It had a drop down front, and a trough drain with a spigot pipe at one end, to allow the residual waste oil to drain into a drum.

12.01.2022 In an earlier post, I showed some photos of the frames I was fabricating for Breakers Country Club. They where erected during the week and these are a couple of happy snaps of them before the roof went on. Ill try and get some shots of the finished job, when I get a chance.

12.01.2022 Boat ramp, Winch frame cradle

12.01.2022 This entrance gate was installed yesterday, it is fabricated from 40 x 6 and 25 x 5 flat bar and is finished in Black Ace Powder Coat.

11.01.2022 Last week I installed some ball railing at a house in Newcastle, for aborigonal housing.

11.01.2022 Another project Ive been involved with is the restoration of an old MacDonald tractor, having completed the front wheels the rear ones are next.

10.01.2022 This is one of the heaviest gates I made during my time at Doyalson Welding. The instillation was by others and it is situated on an access road to a disused coal mine. It was fabricated out of 150mm parallel flange channel and was installed with the flanges facing the road to ensure as much damage as possible to any vehicle that trys to ram it.

10.01.2022 These are a few happy snaps of a recent structural job I did. The frames were fabricated from 150 x 50mm RHS, 89 x 89mm RHS, and 12mm plate.

09.01.2022 Last Saturday Raw Collections at Toukly, required a table stand with a cross over base, as per their customers specifications. Fabricated from 25 x 25 x 2mm RHS, it has been left unpainted as required by the powder coaters.

09.01.2022 Boat ramp, Winch frame cradle.

08.01.2022 I got me tin of cat yellow, gawd it makes number twos paint job look a bit sad!

08.01.2022 I got the dragon boat trolley from the galvanizers today its now ready for delivery.

06.01.2022 This gate was made from 32nb and 20nb pipe, with a 40 x 8 flat bar spacer. It was hot dipped galvanise then painted. The client did not want a drop bolt, so I came up with this latch pin arrangement to secure the closed gates.

06.01.2022 I just finished installing a boat ramp, fixed winch cradle at a residence on Chitterway point. The idea is to provide storage for his boat clear of the water. The frame is hot dip galvanized with a 10 : 1 winch.

05.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago I completed this duct for Perry engineering. Both cones where rolled from one piece of 6mm plate, with the mddle section rolled from 150 x 6mm and pipe was used at the bottom.

04.01.2022 Patios Coast 2 coast required a rack to transport louvers on. I think it last 2 hours on this blokes ute before he took it off,

02.01.2022 I needed to pick something up at Bursons Auto Parts at Charmhaven recently, where I noticed this bollard. It was just after I started at Doyalson Welding, one morning while I was setting up for the days work, Neil came and got me and we spent the next hour or so scrounging whatever steel we could find. to make a bollard. Apparently the night before these plate windows where vandalised and they wanted bollards in front of them that day in case they came back to ram raid the shop that night. Im surprised it is still there and still wearing the red prima I painted them with, 16 odd years ago.

01.01.2022 A business in morisset installed a couple of solar arrays and required cages, to prevent kiddies and drunks fiddling with the control panel.
