20.01.2022 Tumble is adding a new theme to our Birthday Party options - Trolls Huge thank you to Miss Peyton & her fabulous friends for a Troll-iffic party today. Without giving the fun away, there were rainbows Trolls escaping the Bergens, a Treasure Gem game, an adventure trail and building Troll houses all mixed in with a mass of giggles and happy faces. Krista Mountford, another of our awesome Tumble Mum's, is an avid community member and she's reaching out to help make Xmas special for everyone. If anyone would like to jump on board we'd be so grateful! Grab a box and every day add an item from the calendar. Extra Christmas treats can be included to make it a truly special Christmas for a local family in need. It’s also a worthwhile activity to get the kids on board with! Show ...them that Christmas is also about giving and caring for others. Krista has just over 200 boxes being done so far, but over 400 local families accessed food from Baw Baw Food Relief last December & this year there will likely be more! 12.01.2022 We made it to the other side, Yah! Tumble classes are back almost as usual from Friday morning. We've been careful to keep our class numbers within the covid parameters and maintained our covid cleaning, so we just need to maintain hygiene vigilance, QR code signing in and MASKS for those over 12yrs, please. Metro/hot spot adults will not be able to attend Tumble until Melbourne restrictions ease to match regional freedoms. 10.01.2022 Let us all understand the new guidelines then speak no more of this plague that has delayed our flippin' fun. Don't misunderstand, CoVid is serious but I miss the fun stuff and we are ready to Roll at Tumble.

10.01.2022 When we get back to gymnastics we will be social distancing. We will where possible, maintain a safe distance between people in the gym. Family members will not need to social distance from each other. Spotting will be limited, however there will be cases that coaches will spot gymnasts for safety reasons. Small spotting for this purpose has been approved by our Chief Medical Officer.

10.01.2022 Back in business building brainy bodies, YES! What a great start to term 4. It was refreshing to reconnect with all our favourite smiling faces and meet some new ones too. You have to love how resilient children are to come out of iso ready to re-engage and explore. Huge kudos to all our Tumble grownups who have juggled so many new milestones over iso and centred your families to thrive against the setbacks. We are looking forward to an energetic finish to the year.

08.01.2022 Our opening date is still contingent on STATEWIDE numbers, the good news is date deadlines have been removed by Dan and further easing of restrictions will be purely numbers-driven. That leaves us optimistic that the next 3 weeks will see targets met and we may reopen mid-late October. 07.01.2022 While Tummy Time is super important for babies, they’re NOT the only ones who benefit ....Big kids also get a lot out of lying on their bellies (prone position)... too. Children need strength in their arms, shoulders, and back/neck muscles for fine motor, gross motor, and school activities so lying on their tummies gives them extra time to build up strength in those muscles groups. Unlike babies, you don’t have to specify times of the day for this strengthening opportunity-but you can absolutely change up some of the activities your child already does. If he’s reading a book, coloring, doing a puzzle, or even watching TV-try to have him change it up and lie on his belly for a while during that time. Try it yourself-you’ll be amazed how tired your arms get!

04.01.2022 We will keep cleaning hands (and maybe feet!) After School children please change into clean clothes before coming to Tumble. We encourage everyone to be aware of protecting yourself through regular and thorough washing, as well as avoiding touching your face. During lessons, we will regularly encourage stops for gymnasts to wash or sanitise their hands. This helps to keep our athletes and equipment as hygienic as possible.

Any crafty / sewing / quilting / sewing machine operating families amongst our Tumble Tribes? Any hands still up? Coach Sarah is seeking volunteers to help out with some simple sewing (straight lines no zip no button holes required) for props to aid the learning fun at Tumble. 01.01.2022 How great has it been to have largely normal Summer holidays? We trust that 2021 will see life resuming along safe lines for us all. We are optimistic that Tumble can continue to recover step by step from dropping to under 50% capacity. Without dwelling, just a reminder that a little kindness and community spirit will keep us safer in the long run. Tumble is 10 years strong this year and determined to survive for another 10 with your help. Looking forward to catching up with all our Tumble Tribes this year.
