08.01.2022 CANDLES FOR CHARITY Update The Candles For Charity project was so successful to date that a further 60 odd champagne bottles were recently received for cutting and sanding down for Jana Harewood to do her magic with essential oils and soy wax. Thank you to all the local people who support this fundraising by having bought some candles.

03.01.2022 CANDLES FOR CHARITY A few months ago I was approached by Jana Harewood, who is a local candle maker, to cut empty French champagne bottles to use as candle holders to fundraise for Women’s Legal Service Qld (WLSQ ) https://wlsq.org.au/ I am proud to say that to date Jana and I have produced in the order of 65 completed soy wax candles with essential oils which were and still are sold at fundraising events for WLSQ. ... Its our small contribution to this worthwhile charity which provides legal assistance and advocacy to women who are in domestic violence situations.
