19.01.2022 This is why we started Tumby Park almost 5 years ago. A horse we’ve raised almost from the day he was born, yesterday winning as a 2yo!! What a terrific future ahead for him ! As proud owners we must say we got a massive thrill out of his win. Even a few tears were shed. We need to thank a lot of people along the way who have helped get Clippa to the races in one piece. Bruce Jenkins for the initial handling and breaking in process, Rickie Alchin for the education p...rocess and Jarrod Alchin for the race day preparations and finishing touches. 6 months ago Clippa couldn’t even pace properly, so to have him winning at his 2nd race start going 1:56 is a massive achievement for all involved. We must not forget Donny Smith for the last 2 weeks of babysitting and getting us today’s Qbred bonus win. We love the babies and look forward to breeding more winners in the future

19.01.2022 Jingi Wala Wahlu (hello and welcome) to Wollumbin Wednesday. Tweed Escapes want to share the stories of the mountain with you. In partnership with Coodjingburra... HOME, we will bring you a deeper understanding and traditional culture of the region and the iconic landmark that is Wollumbin. To start our first story, here is Wollumbin The Warrior Chief "The spirits of the mountains were warriors. The warriors would have great battles. They would cause lightning & thunder when they went to battle. Wollumbin was the warrior chief, the greatest of all & when he won his last battle, he laid down to resthis work was done. You can see his face from different angles when you look toward mountain from the north. You can also see the scars on the mountain from the wounds of the warriors when they went to battle....& if you look really close, you can see the faces of the other warriors too."

17.01.2022 The very well bred Donny Smith (Redcliffe) trained Sole Ambition has proved too tough in R1 at Albion Park. The 4yo sat in the the death seat and then kicked on to win by 3.3 metres. Here’s what driver, Lachie Manzelmann, had to say about the talented of Bettor’s Delight and One Dream.

16.01.2022 Last night My Ultimate Star won the Star maker final at Tamworth and in doing so broke the track record for 3yo’s. Big thanks to Jarrod Alchin, Brad Elder and Will Rixon It’s always a team effort & we appreciate you all. Also big thanks to Moon Jenny Graham & to all our family that also came to Tamworth to see Star win!

13.01.2022 Horses for Sale Aunty Bessy- recent winner, NR 50 mare, has good ability, she did however tie up at her last start, may suit a paddock trainer? $5000 ono Troublesome Dave- racing Thursday, NR 74, he’s had feet issues recently (abscess) however the last week he’s definitely come good, we thought he was good enough to win an M0 at one stage $6000 ono ... Springbank Eden- M0 trotter who’s back in great trotting form, almost handicapped out of Qld and races aren’t standing up for his grade, was one of NZ better trotters, priced to sell $15000 ono (was an expensive Nz purchase) Following horses are being looked at by an America agent, However the current global travel situation has halted negotiations, they would do a great job at any metro track in Australia, if not sold will continue to race week to week My Ultimate Andy- 4yo who recently qualified in 1:54 with ear plugs still in behind Zuess Bromac (3rd Nsw Derby) This horse has unlimited ability, but he pulled up a little sore after his trial, basically went shin sore like gallopers do, he was an expensive NZ purchase who needs 3 months off. $35000 ono Rocking- Sydney metro mare who is almost ready to trial/race, tries her heart out every start, will win plenty more then possibly go to American $35000 ono With The Band- 8 starts for 6 wins since arriving from NZ, still a NR 62 M0/Q0 Street Appeal- has exceptional ability, brilliant gate speed, still a little green at the races, when he learns what it’s all about he will be a serious horse Always In Command- still an MO class horse, he’s beaten some nice horses, set for Qld winter carnival Call Scott for more information 0407004530 Please feel free to share this post

05.01.2022 Hi Friends, Please share As we have had several call, texts and emails over the last few days asking questions, Here’s a bit of a run down on each of our horses in the upcoming mixed APG sale, all for genuine sale Lot 37 - A beautifully put together filly who is closely related to Vincent, broken in and gaited up, nice pacer. ... Lot 39, lovely bettors filly, Broken in and gaited up, nice pacer Lot 45, Our Ultimate Katie, a very nice filly, had one green trial (watch replay) then spelled to grow and develop, a full sister to My Ultimate Star, looks to have a very bright future Lot 43. Bettors delight gelding, out of the same family as Mach Beauty, has taken time, will make a lovely 3yo, can run quarters comfortably in 31, but was doing a few things wrong when asked to go quicker, so we decided to spell him for 3-6 months and concentrate on his 3yo season. Mach Beauty didn’t race until he was a 4yo!! Lot 47. My Ultimate Tower, 2yo trotter who has been to the green trials a few times just to go through the education process, shows great speed, but still green and immature, will make a nice 3yo, can run Lot 54. Our Ultimate Hannah, nice 3yo filly, we had big wraps on her in the early days, I think she just needed a good spell, lowly accessed at NR 47 with a bright future Lot 57. My Ultimate Andy, an expensive NZ purchase, showed huge ability in his only trial running a narrow 2nd to derby horse Zuess Bromac in 1.54, unfortunately he pulled up lame after that trial, after extensive vet checks he was basically diagnosed with shin soreness, similar to what gallopers get, he was also jarred up in both front fetlocks and knees, requiring at least 3 months off the settle everything down, has loads of ability, ready to resume work. Lot 59. My Ultimate Bondi, a nice 3yo, has disappointed us at the races but can work with any free for all horse at menangle, also one who probably just needed a 3 month spell, great nature, great type, might be a real good 4yo, lowly accessed NR 55 Lot 61. Our Ultimate Vicki, still has a Qbred bonus. Recent form doesn’t do her justice, we thought she was good enough to win an M0, was in desperate need of a spell, ready to resume work, could well be a cheap buy NR 54 Lot 63. Springbank Eden, was one of NZ better trotters before we purchased him, is best suited to a trainer with large yards or to be trained out of a paddock, another that could be a cheap buy Lot 65. Tell the Linesman, lovely big horse that will make metro grade this preparation, watch his trial behind bling it on at menangle, ready to resume work. Lot 66. Indy’s Approval, a beautiful big strong mare with loads of ability, we sent her to a cattle farm to be ridden as she didn’t have the best mouth, in the end she was able to be ridden on a piece of string, also ready to resume work, might be the bargain of the sale Any enquires please call Scott 0407 004 530
