Thur 14 Nov - Sonoran Dogs at Montreal Theatre (Bluegrass music) Sat 23 Nov - Classics on Course at Tumut Golf Club (Classical Music)... - Catherine Britt at Brungle Hall (Country Music) - Beatles Show at Tumut River Brewing Co Sat 30 Nov - Grace and Hugh at Lacmalac Hall (Jazz/Blues Music) - Redbelly Black playing Fleetwood Mac Rumours Album at Montreal Theatre Tumut - Talbingo Tattoo at Talbingo Country Club (Variety of Music) Sun 1 Dec - Tumut Town Band Concert at the Montreal Theatre (Variety of music) Plus there are bands playing locally at pubs around town & may be other gigs that I've missed as well. What will you go out to see????? Don't forget to come and support your local Town Band ;)

17.01.2022 At 6am on ANZAC Day musicians everywhere are being called on to take to their front yards to play the Last Post. A grassroots campaign for Australians to comme...morate Anzac Day at dawn in their driveways is gathering momentum across the country. With traditional services and marches cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, RSL branches in every state have unanimously endorsed the gesture, with families across the nation expected to stand at their gates, on balconies or verandahs at 6am on Saturday April 25. Please join us and the rest of Australia in this special moment to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for this nation. We may not be able to stand together as we usually would, but we can still stand united in spirit. 14.01.2022 It's hard to believe the end of the year is almost here! And that can only mean one thing.....time to have our instruments serviced. What's that, you say? Didn't get to play your instrument much this year? How long has it been since your last service???? Just as Covid has been tough on musicians, it has also been tough on those that service our instruments. Their livelihood relies on our patronage, so if its been a while since your last service, now could be the perfect ...time to have it done. Instruments will be collected once school is over for the year and will be returned in January, ready for band to resume in 2021 (depending of course on lots of Covid related things!). 11.01.2022 Have heard some wonderful responses to all those musicians who played the Last Post this morning in Tumut! Residents were very appreciative and moved by your playing. Thank you for the part you have played in ANZAC Day 2020. Don't forget that the local ANZAC Service will be aired at 10:30 this morning on Sounds of the Mountains.

These are some of the expressions uttered by our audience members following our concert on Sunday. Tumut River Jazz even inspired some to dance in the aisle. It was a truly inspiring concert and everyone who performed should be feeling enormously proud of your achievements. Well done!!
