23.01.2022 Just finished my day at @ajs_moto_superstore , there is nothing better then our customers letting us know how there bikes have been after we have tuned them her...e at @tunetechracing !! we don’t stop until our customers are over the moon with there set up. One of these bikes had previously been set up by another tuner and he was ready to sell and purchase another motorcycle. I convinced him that we could help him and the message speaks for itself. Your motorcycle should work with you, not against you!.... have a good weekend everybody See more

16.01.2022 WP Cone Valves!!! WARNING LONG POST This is a little look at what is inside a set of cone valves. The cones themselves are the blue and red parts in the photo.... Different colour cones have different angles that changes the flow rate of the cone itself making it firmer or softer. Red is soft and blue is firmer, there are 4 different cone options with red being the most common. Then there is cone valve springs which are the little springs in the photos, these also come in different rates. The most common up until now was the 25nm version but now we see the 50nm version coming through in the new pro forks. From a tuning stand point we can have different cones in different springs with different preloads or freeloads. Or they can also be removed all together for some disciplines like desert. On top of all of that then we have the balance chamber springs which from standard are very stiff, standard is 16nm they also have 12nm and 8nm. We don’t run anything other then 8nm and have just finished developing a specific desert balance chamber spring which has been yielding awesome results on small bump compliance. Anyone looking at purchasing a set of these forks will need to get a reputable tuner to get them sorted for you. These particular forks were sold to a 60kgs rider with lighter main springs but valving is way to stiff for me at 114kgs. So the point of this post is they have endless amounts of tuning capabilities but in the wrong hands can be worse then stock! Hope this helps anyone looking at a set of these in the future?! Happy riding everyone See more
16.01.2022 We have our first shipment of @or ecision_racing dampers, this is just a quick video outlining some of there features. The beauty of these dampers is you can ru...n the factory bar position or any position you would like and still run a bar pad and big tank! Once fitted they are completely tucked away which is a lot safer for the operator. See more
13.01.2022 Sherco riders!!! We have been working hard developing the Sherco’s and more specifically the rear shock. The KYB fork has always been a fan favourite but the sh...ock in the later factory edition’s has left a bit to be desired. The performance of the premium fork was also let down from the rear shock and linkage action. We have developed a mod that turns the rear shock hi speed adjuster into a true hi speed adjustment. In standard trim it is almost useless and is almost sitting there for show now we can comfortably go from hard pack to sand and the complete suspension and chassis package is streets ahead of where they previously were. The feedback from our test pilots has been overwhelmingly positive so we are now ready to release it to the public as a standard set up on our Sherco suspension packages See more

10.01.2022 WP SPRING CONVERSION TESTING, DEVELOPMENT AND RESULTS!!! Here is a couple of before and after videos and what we have been working on. . We have been testing th...e pros and cons between air and spring conversions in the WP air fork. We found the air held up a lot better and had heaps more progression and rode nice and high in its stroke when breaking hard. This allowed us to run softer damping and some midvalve float, giving a nice ride in general and overall balance. . What isn’t so great with the air fork is, stiction inside the air chamber, feel at the top of the stroke and would ride too high at corner entry and hard to turn in. . We then switched to spring and have been testing different settings to get it to perform to its maximum also. Once we fitted the spring the fork rode very low in its travel and would fall through into the mid stroke far to easily but had fantastic feel, grip and feed back to the rider. When firming up the fork to get it to hold up the fork became harsh and still fell through and blew through its travel on big hits. . It was back to the drawing board to make some new parts. We ended up developing a three stage midvalve which now helps it hold up in its travel, feel plusher and has a tonne more bottoming resistance. . It’s a win win all round, it’s still in its infant stage but once we get them dialled we will be making them in bulk and will be ready for our customers to ride and race on. . Video no.1 ~ is of conventional midvalve design, as you can see is very nervous and harsh on corner entry. Video no.2 ~ is of the new midvalve design fitted and somewhat dialled, it shows a lot more balance, better rider feedback & feel. . . . #tunetechsuspension #tunetechperformance #tunetechracing @ Shepparton, Victoria See more
08.01.2022 Hands down the best mods you can do to your KTM or Husky to get the engine performing how it should. These @twostrokeperformance cylinder heads are a major impr...ovement over stock, we also had Dave machine the carby slide for better throttle transitioning and fitted a full @procircuit78 system. The exhaust system is not a necessity like the head and carby slide mod but will improve power and they look and sound awesome Can’t wait to hear this beast on the track soon. @jack.merkel See more
08.01.2022 Suspension shop is in overdrive, we are doing our best to turn suspension around as quick as we can. We still have some spots available before Finke so get in touch and we will try and get everyone in and dialled before the big race
08.01.2022 Awesome edit of the newly crowned EJ Australian champion @kyronbacon_228
07.01.2022 The new disassemble bench has really came up a treat. We just wanted to apologise to any and all of our customers during the changeover period from AJs to the n...ew Tunetech HQ. it’s been a monumental few months with the sale of AJs and the setting up of the new shop. It just wasn’t possible to keep to our usual quick turnaround times for our customers so we really sorry regarding this. On top of that we have been trying to get through the massive amount of work that has been coming in. Still a few more weeks before the new workshop is fully finished but it’s coming up exactly how I envisioned it. Stay tuned as we work to get out website up and running to its full Potential!
