24.01.2022 A review from a customer with a current model Ford Fiesta ST tuned at Melbourne Performance Centre last week It was pretty apparent when I left MPC yesterday, that things were not the same. Take off in 1st lacked the usual slight hesitation and when in 2nd, once the turbo began to spool, it was all acceleration. Clean linear acceleration. In the higher gears, the torque is simply waiting to be used without necessarily shifting down. Little bit of right foot pressure and its ...all systems go. Of course I had traffic to contend with. Last night I went for a short drive out the back of Lilydale. My God! When you give her some serious throttle, she is MANIC. You certainly need to hold the steering wheel when you go through the lower gears and accelerating out of a corner will have that inside tyre chirping its head off on any road imperfections. The power and torque is so much more on tap. Its touching on frightening, for me at least. You fellows most probably think its tame but I drive in the real world! At this early stage I have to say I am very pleased and impressed. I know my fuel consumption will rise. One cannot drive that thing sedately nor economically. 06.01.2022 Another day of development on the dyno today has seen another 10 percent gain in power and torque with even better AFR and still running stock boost of 16 psi. Power gains now at 35% and torque is up an amazing 50% over stock. Throttle response far far quicker than stock and yet to even add any boost. The real world r&d is paying off for sure. More hours of road data logging tonight and tomorrow will be followed by more fine tuning and adding boost. This hilux is stock too so we are excited to then more on to the tuning with a Hilux with modifications to see the real-world differences.

04.01.2022 Toyota ECU custom tuning... Others talk about it, we just get on and do it. We have been fine-tuning the 3.0 D4D Hilux for fueling, injection, throttle maps , torque limiters and requests and here is where we are at to this point. This is a Stock vehicle , 2007, 4x4 manual Hilux. Important to note it is still running stock boost. We are now working on the boost tables to further enhance what is already an amazing transformation. The owner is staggered with the change and its ability on the road. Dyno is run in 4wd as the LSD was not functioning and we had masses of wheelspin.
