25.01.2022 Art with Altitude is on this weekend at Mount Glorious! Take a drive to our beautiful mountain village and enjoy this wonderful event. There's art, market stalls, food, coffee and music, plus amazing raffle and lucky door prizes (including a chance to win a weekend at Turkey’s Nest!). All this in the midst of cool rainforest, where you can also enjoy the local restaurant and cafés and a walk in the National Park. Open 9am 4pm Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November.... 17.01.2022 Thanks to Moreton Bay Council's Moreton Bay Tough program for promoting Turkey's Nest on their page. The campaign to support local businesses is really paying off for everyone who has been hit with the shutdowns. There are so many great places to visit in our area. Winter is a lovely time to visit our National Parks, and Maiala Park at Mount Glorious has just had a a major makeover. with new barbeque areas and a rebuild of the historic shelter shed.

10.01.2022 We are permitted to begin trading again on 12th June, and we can't wait to welcome back all our wonderful guests. Winter is always a busy time on the mountain, but with everyone keen to get away after weeks of lock-down, now might be a good time to think about planning your winter getaway. Thanks to #moretonbayregionindustryandtourism for a great photo shoot. We'll have lots of new photos on our website soon.

10.01.2022 We hope all our guests, past and future, are staying safe and positive during these difficult times. Unfortunately, we have been advised that under the current COVID-19 Queensland health directive, we are required to close our business until 19th May (and possibly beyond). Failure to do so incurs large penalties. ... Under this directive Australians are also forbidden to leave their homes for any reason except for necessary permitted purposes. This does not include leisure travel. We hope things settle down soon, and that we will see you at Turkey's Nest in the near future. 04.01.2022 Townsend Roofing These guys did a fantastic job of renovating the old roof on White Gum cottage. Given it another 40 year's of life! Very professional job and they helped us with fixing up the soffits and redoing the downpipes. Enjoy your holiday/birthday present, Peter (& Nathan).
