25.01.2022 Started working on 'Pens for the Troops' pens today. 30 is my target for Remembrance Day 2020.

24.01.2022 Slim line and Broad line Pens are our entry level pens, they are a light pen great for everyday use. Prices Range from $20 to $30 depending on wood type and style. Local pickup free or $10 postage. Price also includes a velvet pen case. All Pens are hand turned and finished with a durable gloss coat and are not production made so we can customize any pen to your needs.

24.01.2022 Great news, I am excited to get some unique pen blanks over the next couple of months. Some of the ones I'll be ordering will be - Timber from RMS Olympic (sister ship to the Titanic), Timber from the Tardis that was used in Dr Who and the Daleks, a variety of timber from the Harry Potter film set, Timber from the 100 acre woods and a couple others. 23.01.2022 My full range of Fathers Day Pens now available. There is a mix of Tasmanian timbers, spectra ply and Jack Daniels wood used. I have a limited amount of Certified Jack Daniels timber and these are made to order. ($50 for boltaction pen). These come in a velvet pen case with a certificate, some shavings and an off cut. I also have boltaction pens, they will all come in a pen box but they can be put into an upgraded velvet case for an extra $5. I'm selling these for $25 each. I charge $10 for postage.

21.01.2022 Sierra stylus twist pens. Roses locally photographed by Casey from her Mother's garden. Then I've cast them in resin before turning to shape and polishing. These can be personalised with name. Orders in by the 30th April. $30 or $35 personalised, local pickup or $10 for express postage.

20.01.2022 Expression of interest. I have an opportunity to get a hold of some timber blanks from the uk and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in a pen made from timber either from the Mk1 Tardis that was created for the film Dr Who and the Daleks, it was constructed in 1965 or Oak frame paneling from Gloucester Cathedral located in the south west of England that was used for much of the filming of Harry Potter. These will only be put on premium high quality pen styles and will come in a pen display timber box including a certificate fo authenticity. Estimated price from $100 to $150 as a guide only as this will depend on the pen type used.

18.01.2022 A customer order going out today... Stainless steel braided fountain pen. Braided hose cast in epoxy resin under pressure, turned, and finished. Really happy with the outcome of this one as they have their challenges..

18.01.2022 All sold. The 3 Dr Who themed pens I finished today. Left to Right.. Ultra C'gar, Professor and a Victorian pen. I kept the knot in the shorter ones and they are both cross cut so a little darker in colour.

18.01.2022 Only a couple today, Paua Shell (abalone) on an upgraded Ultra C'gar pen. Can not take full credit as the blank was made by a fellow crafts person, I completed the process with trimming, turning, polishing and assembly. You can not fully comprehend the detail in this pen with out seeing it in person, each shell was individually placed, glued, degased and then set in high quality resin under pressure. $135.

17.01.2022 Turned this one today while waiting for my unique blanks from the UK to turn up. I've been able to obtain a good supply of Jack Daniel's pen blanks, so doing some up to make Christmas presents. They will be $50ea (pen only) or $55 (In a velvet pen case). Postage $10 otherwise free pick up from Toowoomba.

17.01.2022 A couple weeks ago I had a blow out, Mallee Burl. Decided to add a bit of resin to it and make it a hybrid. I'm really happy how it came out.

17.01.2022 As you know I was gifted 12 pen blanks from Geoff Burrows (The Burl Shed) on the condition I would turn 2 into pens and pay if forward to 2 special people doing great work for the community. Today I had the privilege of gifting 2 pens to 2 ladies from Angel Rescue Toowoomba, Carol Snell and her assistant Nat. Carol started this rescue just on 10years ago and after meeting with her could see her passion for her cause. She organises a team of around 60 foster families that take care of these homeless animals until such time as they get adopted. 11.01.2022 Thought I would put myself out of my comfort zone and try and do a few videos on the process of making a slimline pen with a plain acrylic blank. There is lots of different ways to make a pen and it depends on the pen type and material you are using but this is what works for me. Let me know if you want to see more or if you want to see a 30 to 40 minute live pen turning.

11.01.2022 A shop pic. First of the Dr Who and the Daleks Tardis blanks turned and polished, nearly ready to assemble. Expecting a blue colour? This one was from the police sign, so had black paint on it. The exterior all gets turned down. Certainly not the nicest of timbers to turn but it sure does tell a few stories...

04.01.2022 Remembrance Day 2020 pens all completed and getting packed up this afternoon to send off to the Troops. 30 in total, was a push getting these done inbetween other comitments but was certainly a pleasure.
