01.01.2022 Warning! I received a call from 0492 509 844 and an automated message said I was being investigated by the ‘criminal department’ of the ATO. The auto recorded message asks you to press ‘1’ to speak with an ATO agent. ... I did so and the agent claimed to be a criminal investigator for the ATO. She asked for personal details. When I asked for confirmation and asked lots of questions about who she was, she hung up. Bold new scam - potentially very dangerous. Thoughts John Stronnar Loftus ??
