19.01.2022 Winter social bowls

13.01.2022 Series 3 and the finale of winter bowls was played in very poor conditions yesterday. Players rugged up and put on their rain coats to try and claim the series title. As soaked players waited for the results our lovely associate bowlers put on a great spread of food and on behalf of all members thank you very much ladies for your hard work! This series was very close and was any ones for the taking. We had 7 players in third spot with 25 points, in second place was Dennis Knuckey on 26 points but a young lass who is only a novice took the title with 27 points. Well done to Miss Linda Rose (one to look out for!). See you all next year for "Kiss the Frog" series.

11.01.2022 A great day was put on by West Launceston Bowls Club last Sunday. I am sure they planned to beat us through our bellies by putting on an awesome spread of food all day. This food tactic and home ground advantage was too much for us to get the win as we went down by 15 shots. A special thank you for West Launceston for putting on a birthday cake for our 40th Birthday year which nearly went up in flames, thanks to Terri Hingston for catching the napkin on fire whilst trying to cut the cake!!! Next year we get to repay the favour. Thank you to all who attended :)

04.01.2022 This Saturday 25th August is the final day of series 3 "Kiss the Frog" social bowls. So make sure you have name down or you will miss out!

01.01.2022 For all of those who are going to West Launceston on Sunday, remember you need to pay your $10 before getting on to the bus and the bus will be leaving on time, so no sleeping in!
