18.01.2022 Do you ever wonder what is Rotary and what it does. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Below are the 6 focus areas of Rotary.

18.01.2022 Update message from the President of Labasa Rotary Club, John Prasad. Pics that say a thousand words..... Hi Team, today was such a blessing. ... We have put a roof over Sanjay's house and family. A ray of hope has shined upon their lives. Thank you Eddie for your generosity, both in financing the project and your time. We appreciate it. The roof was completely blown off however in just 2 days, a new roof has been built and the family has now moved into their home. A house has now become a home. The before and after pictures speak for themselves.

16.01.2022 An amazing day out today at Applethorpe by Rotary Club of Brisbane international, Rotary club of Archerfield, Brisbane Taylor Bridge and Rotary club Stanthorpe collaborating with Granite Belt Water relief. Senator Paul Scarr and Desi Boys from Brisbane joined in with the efforts. It was the 3 million'th litres of water delivered to the region by Rotary since last September. The famous butter chicken was throughly enjoyed by all, sponsored by Desi Boys, a group of friends bon...ding together to add value to the friendship by serving the community. This followed by RCBI's major sponsorship of groceries to the Anglican Church of Stanthorpe for the State School's breakfast program. P Soko was immensely proud to deliver this as her first project for the year after the changeover last week. Offcourse fun and fellowship followed the presentations. Once again Rotary providing the platform to make a difference serving humanity, indeed, opening opportunities in our continued endeavours to serve above self

Please continue to support our efforts as rebuild efforts are undertaken We also take this opportunity to wish you an enjoyable, rewarding and prosperous 2021.

We also recently assisted Rotary club of Archerfield and Stanthorpe with their water project in Applethorpe by providing freshly made butter chicken p...acks for the locals and provided support for the local school with their student breakfast program. During these unprecedented times, for our fundraising strategies we gaze ahead to explore innovative ideas and look outside the box and be creative, as we accept that lifes journey continues with its own twists and turns. The club has decided to trial a new concept being a Fathers Day Grazing Box. The grazing box will be delivered at your home by Saturday evening, ready for a fun and exciting Fathers day brunch or lunch on Sunday. Please see flyer below for options and ordering process.
