16.01.2022 Last night at 8:28pm the brigade was activated to a fire call for grass/bush alight in our area. A suspected lightning strike after the recent storms. A crew of two set off in the Cat7 with another crew of two in the Cat9. Group 1 Captain was first on scene and set about locating the fire. With the sun setting and the rugged inaccessible terrain it was decided we would send a crew back to the scene in the morning. After a night of rain the fire put itself out. Thanks to the crews who responded
