11.01.2022 Catalyst on the ABC this week was so interesting. Research is showing that not only microbeads of plastic but also threads of plastic from our clothes, via washing machines, are being ingested by the seafood we eat. Synthetic fabrics derived from plastics are the cause, including polyester and polar fleece. Turramurra Drapery has always preferred natural fibres - cotton, wool, silk, linen, viscose, rayon & other plant derived fabrics & knitting yarns. Apart from being kind to the seaways they are far more comfortable to wear. Check your labels!
