23.01.2022 Term 4 is underway and it’s been a very busy start. We welcome all our new students and it’s good to see everyone back getting ready for a great summer. Our weekly timetable is attached to assist with booking make-up lessons. Please tell us if your child can’t come to their regular lesson so we can offer the spot to others for a make-up lesson. We only give the make-up classes away on the day, or the evening before for the first lesson of the day. Make-up lessons must be taken within the term. Please call 9489 4771 for all enquires. We are a CovidSafe business so please fill in the tracking register on arrival and use hand sanitizer.

19.01.2022 We are leaping into re-enrolment time! Please carefully read our Newsletter this week as our booking procedures for Term 4 have slightly changed. We would encourage you to take note of the relevant dates for booking and payment to ensure you keep your spot continuing into summer. Term 3 resumes tomorrow Monday July 20 and as we do our best to keep life as normal as possible for our children we would like to remind everyone of the following: - observe social distancing and hygiene recommendations to wash hands and use hand sanitizer. - fill in the register on arrive to assist in case tracking if needed. - don’t leave home if you are unwell. - don’t come to swimming lessons if you have been in Victoria or any of the following listed ar...eas in Sydney. 17.01.2022 Holiday classes are such a great way to help your child progress quickly, gain confidence and get ready for the new term. If you missed them these holidays, consider putting your name on the list for holiday classes in December or January. Call 9489 4771.

16.01.2022 WATER SAFETY WEEK - we are off to a great start! Practicing rescues, star floats, yelling for help, treading water using something that floats from near the pool and talking to a friend who might be in trouble- encouraging them to back float. All followed up with a Certificate and sticker from Swim Australia. #swimaustralia

16.01.2022 Queen's Birthday Long Weekend. We hope everyone is having a great weekend in this lovely weather. Just a reminder to our Monday swimmers that there are no lessons this coming Monday and you have not been charged for the lesson. Please also confirm your Term 3 bookings next week with payment as we have quite a number of children waiting to join the swim school. 16.01.2022 Term 4 begins on Monday 12 October. We are looking forward to a great term. The same great team will be joined by two new teachers. On Friday Matilda will teach the afternoon shift and Fina will teach the Saturday afternoon shift. We welcome both of them and look forward to a great term learning to swim. Enquiries call 9489 4771

13.01.2022 Congratulations Karen on receiving your recognition as an Accredited AUSTSWIM Teacher for 10 years! As the recognition letter says this role shows a commitment to educate the community to reduce the incidence of drowning and its tragic impact from aquatic accidents. AUSTSWIM and Turramurra Learn to Swim thank you for continuing to educate and influence our community for safer aquatic participation. Karen has been an invaluable member of our staff, both in the pool and on reception, and as our staff coordinator, for over 11 years. Thanks Karen!

13.01.2022 This week marks the last week of Term 3 and we would like to thank everyone for your amazing cooperation with our CovidSafe requirements to make it a very happy and successful term. We also congratulate the students on the improvement in their swimming skills this term with Certificates this week. We have a few places left in the holiday course in the mornings and have opened afternoon lessons in Week 2. Call 9489 4771 to book in for the Spring Holiday Intensive or Term 4.

13.01.2022 Aquadash Swim Parkas are now available at the swim school. This product was previously known as the Great Aussie Swim Parka. They are a quality product - a towel on the inside, waterproof on the outside and very warm. Enquiries 9489 4771.

12.01.2022 These little champions worked very hard this term to receive their Certificates of Encouragement at the end of Term 3. Thanks Miss Karen for helping them to learn to swim. See you in Term 4!

09.01.2022 This is a great reminder of how important it is to continue swimming lessons. Can your 6-9 year old swim 50 metres without stopping and tread water for 2 minutes. If not, they need to continue swimming lessons. Term 4 begins on Monday 12 October. Call 9489 4771 to make a booking.

09.01.2022 June/July holiday intensive swimming lessons - come everyday for a week (Monday 28 June to Friday 2 July). These regular lessons daily can improve swimming skills and confidence quickly. Being consistent and concentrated can improve skills quickly. These classes are also great for first time swimmers as it is an excellent way to settle into lessons before the term starts. Teachers will be Fina from Monday to Wednesday and Sarah on Thursday and Friday. Call 9489 4771 to book.

03.01.2022 Returning to Swimming as a CovidSafe business. The lessons until the end of this term will replace the lessons missed when pools were closed at the end of Term 1. 02.01.2022 CovidSafe - Health Department inspection. This week a NSW Health Department inspector carried out a spot-check of our premises to ensure we had completed the COVID Safe business plan for public swimming pools. I’m pleased to say that he had no problems with our plan or it’s implementation. He reminded us that we must adhere carefully to the reception area restrictions at all times. A maximum of 10 people at a time in reception with only ONE family group allowed to sit on an...y of the bench seats together. Wherever possible please have only one adult accompanying children to lessons and leave quickly when your lesson has finished.
