22.01.2022 Every day is environment day, so save your day by saving your environment. In 1972, Lions Clubs made a commitment to servicing the community in environmental related projects. Over 3,000 environmental projects are carried out by Lions in Australia every year.... So far The Lions Club of Turramurra Inc. has carried out over 10 local cleanup projects and two tree planting projects with the help of Ku-ring-gai Council this year. 13.01.2022 On the 22nd of May, The Lions Club of Turramurra Inc. had the opportunity to prepare 140 freshly cooked meals to be distributed to the people in need, at Northside Salvation Army This project coincided with Lions Clubs International Hunger Week, commencing on 28th May. Thank you to the Turramurra Lions volunteers Roshan Wicks and Tamara Wicks, Dilan Gangabada Arachchige and Sakitha Maljini Liyanarachchi , Amiranti Marsh , Dr Mohan Siribaddana, Kuruppu Gunawardena, Murugananth...an Apputhurai and Medini Pallage who dedicated their time and participation towards this worthy cause. The Salvation Army has also noted their immense appreciation for the meals and has been acknowledged by Mission Leaders Captains Randall and Glenda Brown If you cannot feed a hundred people, then feed just one.
