23.01.2022 TREASURE CHEST POST A big thank you to Corinne from Altona for her donation to our little museum in Yarragon. A 1950s Specto 500 Vintage Cine projector - 8mm. These units were made in the early 1950s in the UK and this particular unit saw action in the tropics. If you are down Yarragon way pop in and check out our other treasures we have on show and neverforget TUSK, we do all film transfers to DVD, USB or the cloud. Now also servicing Sunbury and surrounding suburbs.

22.01.2022 Covid 19 Snap Lockdown Notice Due to the B117 strain of Covid 19 Snap Lockdown, we regretfully advise that neverforget TUSK will be closed until Midnight Wednesday 17/2/21. We will resume work on Thursday 18/2/21... neverforget TUSK will continue to monitor the situation as it continues to unfold and advise if and when it changes. 19.01.2022 TREASURE CHEST POST A special thank you to Garry from near by Yarragon for his donation of cameras to our little museum. In particular, the circa 1946 to 1957 Brownie Six-20 Model D camera with flash!. The Brownie Cameras were affordable cameras made by Eastman Kodak at the turn of the 20th Century. Very popular and very cute. If you have any Brownie format photos, or photos and slides of any size, neverforget TUSK. We can convert them to a digital format for you on any medium.

14.01.2022 Coronavirus (Covid-19) To all our customers, friends and family from neverforget TUSK. We hope that you are all safe, healthy and keeping your chin up during these unprecedented times. As the situation develops the health and safety of our clients and staff is of utmost importance to us. ... We at neverforget Tusk continue to monitor and adhere to Australian Government and World Health Organisation's advice as the situation continues to unfold. We are increasing our hygiene procedures and maintaining social distancing as outlined by government authorities and continue to keep operating as normal. At this stage non essential services which generally have large gatherings such as; Pubs, clubs, sporting venues, etc. have been requested to close down or change their services. As we do not have large numbers of people here at any one time we continue to process orders in our normal service times. For the safety of our staff and other customers we politely request if you do feel unwell or have recently returned from overseas please give us a call or email us before thinking of visiting us at the shop. We'd be more than happy to help you out. We have increased our regular disinfection procedures of our in-house equipment and continue to adapt and find innovative ways to carry on with preserving your memories. 12.01.2022 Treasure Chest Post Thanks to Chris from Bairnsdale for her donation of a Stereoscope View-Master circa. 1946 to our little museum at Yarragon. This unit is made from the pre-cursor to modern day plastics, called Bakelite. The view-master was first introduced to the masses in 1939 New York at the world's fair. To date there have been about a billion reels made to view on the View-Master. They include a host of scenic attractions featuring everything from the 7 wonders of the... world, children’s cartoons to Florida USA and Yes, they are still being made. The recent version of the View-Master that I know of is a virtual reality unit that came out in 2015. A View-Master reel holds 14 film transparencies in seven pairs, making up the seven stereoscopic images. The components of each pair are viewed simultaneously, one by each eye, thus simulating a 3D effect. The quality is very good and sharp because of the high fidelity film they were made from.
