20.01.2022 Meet Carlie! Carlie graduated in 2020 from East Hills Girls Technology High School with an ATAR of 90.45. She received outstanding results in Business Studies, Visual Arts and Advanced English and received a state ranking of 5th in NSW in Dance. Carlie is extremely passionate about dance and is currently taking a gap year to dance professionally with Austinmer Dance Theatre. She also has experience working with children through teaching dance as well as running Sunday School ...lessons and activities. Carlie has always enjoyed working with children and loves being able to focus on the individual needs of her students to support them in reaching their individual potential. 17.01.2022 Meet Hannah! Graduating from Engadine High School in 2018 with an ATAR of 89.40, Hannah has gone on to study a Bachelor of Secondary Education at the University of Notre Dame. Hannah is majoring in English and History Studies and is an experienced tutor at Tutoring Your Way. She has completed placements at various schools and currently works as a teachers aid, where she has gained experience working with children with various learning difficulties and behavioural issues. Hann...ah also has previous tutoring experience, and she enjoys being able to focus on her students individual needs in the one-on-one environment. 11.01.2022 Planning is an important part of school, especially when it comes to assessment time. Effective planning can help you to feel less overwhelmed and stressed, especially when you have multiple assessment tasks or exams due in a short amount of time. Using a planner to break your assessments into smaller, more manageable tasks will help to reduce that last minute cramming and will also increase your productivity. We encourage all of our students (especially our senior students) to use a planner to help them stay organised and on top of all their due dates.
