09.01.2022 In keeping with the theme of businesses generously supporting our great cricket club. The Taroom/Wandoan Cricket Club would like to sincerely thank Glencore for their recent sponsorship which resulted in the club being able to purchase a new kit complete with bats, pads, gloves and much more. Thank you Glencore for helping our club and our community.

06.01.2022 Taroom hosted Canaga on the weekend. It was nice to see the return of a few bowlers to the side with Mitch Hay and Marty Steele coming back. It was also good to see Weldon dust off the whites and make an appearance. Canaga won the toss and batted in hot conditions. They started strongly with some lusty blows and were scoring freely for the first 10 overs. Rob Plant and Snow slowed the scoring and the pressure resulted in wickets. Plant was the destroyer with 4 wickets so ma...ny that he had to put his hat on between batsmen to save the scalp..Stu Bell finished them off with a wicket maiden. Chasing 90 for the win Bryce Moore showed he was still in form from last week with 36. Jake parry looked good and did the hard work seeing off the openers and made 5. Steele and Hay had the chance to be heroes and get the runs but they choked. Snow and Otto got us over the line. Not out* for both of them will do their season averages no harm.

05.01.2022 Home game tomorrow vs Cross Roads. Starting at 10. This will be our last home game if the season so get down and support or sledge or both.

04.01.2022 Finally after popular demand (mainly by the ladies and Deacon) we’ve managed to snap a photo of this years team! Very good looking bunch.... not bad cricketers either!
