12.01.2022 It's our 100th birthday on Sunday! Tweddle evolved following the establishment on the 13th of September 1920 of The Society for the Health of Women and Children of Victoria (Plunket System). The foundation of The Society included: Dr John Springthorpe, Sister Maud Primrose, and Mr James Hume-Cook (Honorary Secretary). Tweddle was funded by businessman Joseph Tweddle and introduced the New Zealand based Plunket system. While Tweddle's Centenary Celebrations are on hold, today we thank the passion and dedication of those that came before us, and to those who work with Tweddle today. We are grateful for the legacy we've inherited and we are privileged to continue to care for babies, toddlers and their families today.

11.01.2022 Happy 100th birthday Tweddle! Thank you for joining us here as we share stories, photos and connect old friends. We have many more photos to digitise and memories to bring to life. Here’s to the next 100 years!

09.01.2022 Anyone remember these products from your nursing days?

07.01.2022 Join the Lions Club of Altona on Zoom this Wednesday evening at 7pm to hear historian and 1939 Tweddle baby Jim Hevey talk about Tweddle and his involvement documenting and researching Tweddle's history.

06.01.2022 From little things, big things grow. Many of our early 1920's buildings exist today. Tweddle began during the early years of a pandemic, the Spanish flu. In the year of our Centenary, we are experiencing another pandemic with COVID-19 which has led to the delay in our Centenary celebrations. Thank you to Jim Hevey, 1939 Tweddle baby for colouring these wonderful photos.
