Nurse Chris was involved in a motorcycle accident on the way to work, and had to have his leg amputated. Thankfully, he was an NSW Nurses and Midwives' Association member, and thanks to our Journey Accident Insurance, he was able to recoup $100,000 to assist with his recovery. The petition closes 12 Nov 20, to have it raised in Parliament we need 20,000 signatures. We have 4,500 signatures so need 15,000 more. Any ideas how we can get residents of NSW to sign the petition on this link- https://bit.ly/ratiospetition ? Would anyone be interested in asking each of your colleagues in your ward/unit to sign? Then ask them to ask family and friends to also sign on? I want these improvements in staffing to be implemented in your hospitals, this is a start!!
