23.01.2022 It’s SPRINGTIME and it’s finally time to PARTY! (in a small and covid safe way) We are now taking bookings for craft parties in our new studio in Castle Cove. We even have a macrame party for teenagers available too. If your daughter missed a party this year due to lockdown and you would still like to do something, we are able to host parties in the first week of the school holidays. 23.01.2022 It’s SPRING and it’s PARTY TIME!!! I’m just putting the final touches on our craft party program but thought I would pop this express party option up as a teaser. Please note that to be a covid safe venue we can only have 10 people (+ staff) in the studio at one time. Therefore our party package size is based on 8 kids. We are also taking party bookings for the first week of the school holidays. Perfect if you may have missed a birthday party earlier in the year and would love to invite your friends to do something fun!

Join me for a super fun and relaxing beginner sewing (machine) course, or the perfect refresher if you haven’t sewn for a while. Over 4 weeks you will learn how to use a sewing machine, insert a zipper and make simple accessories and decor items like coin purses, cushions and tote bags. All materials for Week One are provided. We will then br...ainstorm your projects during the first class so you can buy all the things you need for the following 3 weeks. Classes will be from 10am - 12 midday on the following Fridays: 23rd October, 30 October, 6 November, 13 November OR there is now a Wednesday Class available - see details via website. The product development process takes about 3 months or so but often an idea is born and sits in a sketchbook or on the product board for many months. I’m passionate about sourcing in Australia and having a transparent supply chain using sustainable resources, that leave a lighter footprint on the earth. 20.01.2022 What an awesome group of kindy kids today creating their own softies. They designed them on paper, transferred it to the calico shell and used fabric markers. They even made new creatures like caticorns (cat + unicorn). Then stuffed them all themselves. 19.01.2022 A quick snap of a few more of our craft party themes. This is the painting party - a wall hanging version instead of a cushion. Painted with Aussie made fabric inks at a completely solar powered factory in Brookvale, on the northern beaches in Sydney. Pretty cool huh that we can buy environmentally friendly Aussie made craft products!!!

15.01.2022 Three teenagers, three different choices for their bags today in our sewing class. They all did a fabulous job - with one never having sewn at all before! No shortage of chatter as they worked away - so lovely to see girls who didn’t know each other and different ages connect and sew. And to finish off they made face masks. One even matches the bag made (not pictured)

Our workshops in our Castle Cove studio are going ahead - and all our sewers and crafters from the South side of the Northern Beaches can now attend. 02.01.2022 For the past 4 weeks these lovely ladies have been my first Learn to Sew Class (each Wednesday morning for 2 hours). They have learnt to use their own sewing machines and with incredible focus also completed 3 projects - a chicken pin cushion, a tote bag and an apron. Jacqueline isn’t modelling hers as we’ve done a special version ‘market apron’ so she can use it for her handmade soap business so she’ll pop back next week to complete the front pockets. Not only have they all gained a new skill but we had a lot of fun and laughs in the process. Stay tuned for more sewing classes in 2021.
