25.01.2022 Ta Da!!! These old squatters chairs bring back memories of my Dad sitting back after a long hard days work enjoying a well deserved beverage or two and me sitting on his lap in the hope he might just offer me a sip. Although I have always loved the comfort and design of them, I never really went much on the old fashioned style (even as a kid). So when I picked up this piece from my local Salvation Army thrift store I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and give it a fresh Hamptons beach look. With a new paint job in exterior pure white and a woven pvc canvas that is washable and breaths (unlike the old style canvas that would get so hot a sweaty) along with stainless steel eyelets that won't rust at the coast. 21.01.2022 Be hump day happy with these vintage drawers from Twigs & Twine. I just love, love, love the original dangle pulls on this solid Hoop Pine piece. Painted in a fresh clean Pure White for the outside and inside the drawers, with the rest clear waxed to show off this beautiful timber. Measurements are 80cm long x 86cm tall x 36cm deep. 18.01.2022 Morning vintage lovers!!!! In between doing my bigger projects I try to fit in a couple of smaller pieces to break it up a little. Of late I have had quite a few inquiries for those of you wanting bedside cupboards which can be a little hard to come by. I love the way this cute little antique silky oak piece is taking shape....all that is left to be done is put the door back on with some new hardware and a clear wax. 14.01.2022 I just love, love, love old rustic timber, especially Hoop and Kauri Pine. And as you all know I also love to up-cycle old timber to give it a new life. So when I was approached by the lovely Tiff from Miss Tiff Crochet to custom make a low bench stool for her market stall display, I had a rummage through some old painted boards in our shed. With some design plans and lots of stripping and sanding this is what my "handy" man and I can up with. This piece was a total wreck when I got her and was more than likely destined for the burn pile. But with an open mind and loads of lovin' this piece has come up just the way I love them......rustic country chic. All eyes will be on her now as her new incarnation will be lived out as a television and entertainment unit. SOLD!!!

She was in pretty bad shape with a really bad paint job, and I am guessing she has been stuck out in someones shed for many years judging by the amount of oil stains and mud hornets nests inside.
