04.01.2022 Gamers' ten commandments: Thou shalt always respect thy opponent, in their choice of army, painting, or fluff, even be it so different from thine own. Thou shal...t not cheat in any way, but play with fairness in all matters. Thou shalt not fail to maintain acceptable personal hygiene, lest others shun thee; neither shalt thou conduct thyself in knavish manner. Thou shalt always play with good humour, being gracious in defeat and humble in victory, remembering that a game of toy soldiers is a small matter. Thou shalt not criticise another for their painting or knowledge, remembering that at one time we all were noobs. Thou shalt always bring the necessary items for the game, be they dice, measuring tapes, counters or whatsoever else. Thou shalt not discourage others from their interests, even if they be different to thine own, neither shalt thou gatekeep thy preferred game. Thou shalt support thy local gaming centres, if thou wishest them to remain established. Thou shalt not lay thy hands upon another gamer's minis without express permission, lest they smite thee with righteous fury. Thou shalt recall at all times that enjoyment is the purpose of the hobby, and strive to cultivate it.
