24.01.2022 Fun facts about lashes When getting lash extensions, remember your lashes are never going to be the same as someone else’s! No set of lashes are ever the same. Extensions should not go 2mm longer than your natural lash as it can over balance your natural lash causing them to snap. ... The thickness of your natural lashes determines how many lashes can be stuck to your lashes. Your natural lash health is so important if you want a full set of lashes. If you pick and pull your lashes You will have less lashes meaning the extensions will not look as full. I highly recommend everyone who has extensions or anyone who gets a lash lift to use a lash growth serum so you’re always putting goodness back into your lashes to keep helping them grow quicker and longer! Do not forget to keep away from heat (lashes will sizzle and you will need to get a removal and full set), steam, water (for 24-48 hours), oil! Any face products / cleansers / moisturisers/ foundations that have oils avoid your eyes and make sure you’re cleansing your lashes at least every second day with a proper lash cleanser to remove all oils on the lashes including your natural oils and all dust particles / sleep / sweat or even if you have cried, cleanse your lashes straight after, lashes do not like tears Please remember if you’re pregnant or hormones are changing you could have retention issues, if you work in fast food where you’re cooking with oils, wash them as soon as you get home! Any medications can cause lashes to come off a lot faster than usual and so can stress! I hope someone can learn something from this information and don’t forget, I have a referral program going, when you refer a client to me you get a lucky dip!!!! It’s 100% seeing people’s reaction straight after a service they have never had before especially when it is as simple as a little lash lift and tint, (shattered I forgot to take a before photo but they were straight and light brown) and now they have a cute little curl and a beautiful tint!! She also got a free keratin/ collagen treatment at the end to nourish her lashes and help hydrate them after all of the lifting solutions were applied!!! ... 07.01.2022 *please read - policies and lash after care * Quick recap on lash after care with some facts : Don’t get your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours *includes steam.... do not touch, rub or pull your lashes.. this will cause damage you your lashes!! brush your lashes every day to put them into place. do not use mascara with lash extensions. taking some medications can cause lashes to come off. hormonal changes can also make lashes not last long at all. avoid all oils at all times!!!! Working in fast food with oils can do the same damage. cleanse your lashes every morning and night to remove any build up or oils from the lash line! Especially if you wear make up - can buy lash cleanser from me. sweating a lot can also cause lashes to come off quicker. sleeping on your face is another reason lashes can come off quicker, I do have sleeping masks designed for extensions for sale! don’t brush your lashes while they are wet, dry them with a tissue (something with no cotton that will get hooked in the lashes) first. refills are recommended every 2-3 weeks as we lose 2-5 natural eye lashes every day naturally! do not curl or tint lash extensions. stress can cause lashes to come off as well as crying!! And a quick recap on policies : cash or bank transfer only 50% deposit / booking fee is required on all full sets of lash appointments. 50% cancellation fee applies when less than 24 hours notice is given or you do not show up. if you show up 15 minutes late to an appointment you will be classified a no show. She was lucky enough to live under the same roof as me through covid lock downs up until recently.
