22.01.2022 Busy busy busy ! We have been looking at keeping ourselves healthy and talking about healthy foods and exercise. We have been to the park and done lots of dancing to get our heart pumping! Here’s a few pictures of some of the work we have been doing

18.01.2022 We’ve entered times none of us have had to deal with before with many uncertainties. However the children are still having fun and learning as we continue business as usual This is just a few pictures! we’ve been super busy doing our Easter activities, so they are done before I have a holiday

17.01.2022 Hand washing experiment... We did an experiment with the children to demonstrate the importance of washing their hands with soap. I poured out a bowl of milk... and added pepper, the children then dipped in their fingers having washed their hands with just water and the pepper remained in the same place, they then added soap to their fingers and tried again, this time the pepper (which represents the germs) moved away. Such a simple but effective demonstration of how hand washing with soap helps to get rid of germs!

17.01.2022 With Christmas fast approaching and us being in lockdown and finally allowed some freedom. I am opening Saturdays. So if you want to do some child free shopping or just go for lunch with your partner, you can now use me on a Saturday

12.01.2022 Busy first week back, we’ve had so much fun making our masks for our animal boogie dance next week. The children have made their own coloured playdoh so that they are not sharing during these COVID-19 times. We’ve nursed many animals back to full health in our vets and I’m sure there will be many more who visit next week.

08.01.2022 We are opening back up a week tomorrow and I can not wait to see my little people We are starting back with a vets as this was what the children suggested before we broke up due to covid-19 and the new system. We will be learning about animals and how we care for them along with what our pets need to remain healthy. We will have some time with lucky the bird and maybe all have a hold Display boards of the children’s work to follow

07.01.2022 Wow what a busy month so far We’ve been on magic train rides, we’ve done lots of arts and crafts, we have been doing our display for Australia Day, as well as jumping in homemade muddy puddles We’ve also been building new friendships and doing lots of team building. We have some beautiful friendships here which makes me so happy We are having a great time back at twinkle twinkle little stars

05.01.2022 This dragonfly was one the highlights of the week It came into the house and we caught it and put it back outside. The children kept saying about how they rescued a dragonfly and kept asking questions about the it so we did some spontaneous learning and found out some great facts about dragonflies

03.01.2022 Due to me being off work, I have been busy with my children doing a time capsule. Below is some things we have been doing so I thought I’d post incase anyone else wanted to do something similar

03.01.2022 The children asked to do Halloween activities so we did our feet last week and this week with have to find the creepy crawlies with our own tweezers. What will we find ?

03.01.2022 Our tomato’s are yummy hope our other fruits and vegetables continue to grow as good as our tomato’s. We have completed some of our Christmas tasks on our planning, we have been learning our Christmas songs, made baubles, cards, and done some colourings, we’ve talked about if we celebrate Christmas and how.
