We are in need of a casual worker for a family owned beef cattle enterprise and horse stud. Location: Close to Rockhampton, QLD. Duties include: Horse operation- (Early morning hours only) Feeding Handling Some riding Assist with daily training program Cleaning paddocks/yards Cattle operation- (hours/days by negotiation) Checking waters Feeding cattle Occasional mustering/yard work General station hand duties When: Monday-Friday, rarely weekends. Would suit someone looking for flexible hours. Requirements: Successful applicant must be confident and competent at handling young horses and livestock. You will be required to recognise and treat injuries or illness, or assist with veterinary care in our absence.
