13.01.2022 Club President Resigns After serving as President of the club for several years, Ian Every reluctantly resigns due to continuing health problems. Ian has worked tirelessly to finally see the club granted a lease on land at Bedford Park and at last a place for the club to call home. Ian saw the club move from place to place but his ‘never give up’ attitude paid off and he and his committee can be very proud of their achievement. Ian was presented with a gift voucher and fra...med photo gallery of some of the many events in which he had participated. Vanessa Diskett presented Ian with a Certificate of Service and letter of best wishes from our Patron, Bert van Manen MP, in recognition of his service to the community through the Croquet Club. We now welcome our new President, Ron Schodel, and wish him the very best in his new role. Two more courts and a clubhouse are the next goals so there is still a huge task ahead.

03.01.2022 Another good day for Maia McGhee at the recent Eildon Gala Day where she and partner Margaret Bevan from the Eildon Club got runners-up in their Block after winning all six games. The morning started out with a sprinkle of rain but soon cleared and a good time was had by all.
01.01.2022 Congratulations to Maia McGhee on winning the Plate in the Open Women’s Singles held at Wynnum on 17th & 18th April. Maia won 2 matches on Saturday and then five of her six matches in the round-robin on Sunday. Two days of tough competition for everyone with the final match of the weekend being played under lights. Cynthia Tacey the CAQ President presented Maia with the Carmel Donley Plate.
