For the last 12 months, I have been fighting to save the ATV Industry in Australia. The ACCC has anounced rulings to introduce Roll Over Bars on all ATV's. These Bars have not proven to save any lives and are not fully tested within the market place and industry test show them to be more dangerous to the user of the ATV. The Roll Over designers went direct to the ACCC to back door the industry. Any death is not a good thing however facts are you have more chance of been killed in your Car in Australia than on your ATV. And most deaths happen because of careless behaviour and Drink Riding or allowing children to ride Adult ATV's. Industry asked for some regulation IE. Saftey Helmet, safety checks and training. However, bureaucrats saw fit to force the industry's to fit these sort of things to the ATV before sold the ACCC also saw fit to ask manufacturers to redesign there ATV's for the Australian Market. All major manufacturers of the ATV's have stated that they will simply pull out of the Australian market all together. What this means is that major manufacturers will be exiting the ATV Market. Means no more Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and so one ATV's to be sold in Australia. This also means that all ATV businesses as mine will close their doors. It is estimated to be some 650 businesses in Australia... I am one of the thousands of people that this ruling will affect I have written to Ministers I have sat down with representatives and exhausted all my efforts to prevent this from happening. I ask all of you to please SHARE this as many times as possible so that it will fill the FB to bring to the attention of the Government. This country is losing it when a few uneducated bureaucrats about this subject proceed to give in to those that have a vested interest in seeing their Roll Over Protection Devises fitted a wipe out a industry in one stroke of the pen. For those coming from Adelaide, At the Blanchtown BP servo turn Left towards Morgan. Travel approx 24.5kms (first 8km's is Bitchumen then dirt road) You will cross over approx 4-5 cattle grids along this stretch.. Turn Left onto Pollards road. Track is approx 2 km's up Pollards Road on right Number 214. If gate is closed please be careful as you will be crossing the track when you come in. If you are coming up Sunday please wait at the gate for someone to let you in as racing may have already started.

11.01.2022 BREACH OF CONFIDENTIALITY BY AN AMA MEMBER On Monday 27th April, a confidential email was sent to Australian Motorcyclist Association (AMA) members to update th...em on what the AMA team has been doing to ensure the continuity of the AMA, during and long after COVID19. This email was marked in confidence to the members, as it discussed the need to increase membership fees slightly for riders, clubs and promoters due to the impending public liability insurance hike that the AMA will be faced with at renewal time. No big deal really, but we thought it best to communicate such an issue directly with AMA members, rather than through social media. However, an unscrupulous member has forwarded this communication to the management of the other mob. So before you hear any false or misleading information or any other lies they like to pull out of their BS cupboard, the AMA is not going broke, it is not going down and this is not the end of the AMA. For the person(s) that feel the need to spy on the AMA, we feel sorry for you as you were probably forced to do this, but it is kind of flattering at the same time. if you want any information, all you have to do is call. We will be open and honest with you just like we were with members in the communication to increase membership fees. At the AMA, we want to provide motorcyclists with an affordable insurance option so we can just ride!!!. Unlike the other mob, our insurance is not on hold and it can be used right now with the ease in restrictions. Regards The AMA Team

08.01.2022 To all bike riders everywhere, even if you dont live in this area, please write to this council voicing your disapproval (assuming you disapprove that is). If this gets accepted then other councils in your area may do the same. Its hard enough finding places to ride now, and they want to tell us we cant ride on our own property. They want our kids to sit on the computer all day. Next they will be banning Horses as they affect the neighbours as well, if this passes lets all submit complaints about Horses as well. Time to get behind this and support those that will be affected by this ban before it spreads to your area.

From October next year all quad bikes sold... in Australia will need to have operator protective devices - a product that manufacturers such as Yamaha and Honda claim is not viable for them to produce.
