12.01.2022 Back from Samoa now and we had a great time as Designs sponsors for Miss Samoa Melbourne. It was certainly a memorable experience being part of the Miss Samoa competition for the very first time! We are trying to get through all our new order's and your messages The recycling wearable art category in the pageant was fun for us as it was a chance to do something creative! Definitely not something we were used to. We decided to make a dress out of recycled and reusable shopping bags as they were the closest things to real 'material'. From January, Samoa is banning plastic shopping bags in a bid to protect it's oceans and environments so this seemed fitting! Hope you like! Anyway we are back in business.
