24.01.2022 Hi everyone, the ABTA Committee would like to gather historical information on Baton Twirling in Australia for the program for the next National Championships in October, and would like to include information about Tasmania and the TBTA. Can you all please share the page around and tag anyone you know that has ever been involved in Baton Twirling in Tasmania? Any information you could give us regarding the history of Tasmanian clubs would be greatly appreciated. We would also love some copies of any old photos or memorabilia you may have. Im looking forward to hearing from you all and hearing your stories, Im sure you all have some great (& no doubt funny) Twirling memories! Cheers Shannon

I would like some photos from any past Tasmanian Baton Twirlers to use at our end of year display. The theme this year is Flashback and we are flashing back to the past with fun routines and songs. The photos will be printed and used on a display board at our display. The photos will NOT be used on social media. 13.01.2022 RDT will be doing a demonstration at the Fairy Godmothers Market on Sun 25th Feb at 12:30 pm & will then be offering Free Twirling lessons between 1:00-2:00 pm.... If you would like your child to try something new and fun, bring them along, but more importantly come and support this fantastic not for profit organisation raising money for a great cause! See more
10.01.2022 Beginners Dance Twirl starts Monday 24th July! New beginners class for 6 years + over. Mondays 4:00-5:00pm PCYC Burnie.... $10 per lesson. No previous dance experience needed. *Batons supplied (limited number available, so first in first served) Message us if you would like to join the beginners class!

05.01.2022 Some of you ex Baton Twirlers may remember Mark Nash (USA). He was 8 times Mens World (& National) Champion, 4 time National 2 Baton & 3 Baton Champion, & 3 time National Dance Twirl Champion. His demonstration of Dance Twirl and 3 & 4 Baton at our National Camp last week was amazing. We were very lucky to have him as a coach.
