24.01.2022 We have received some correspondence from TRC in relation to the Milmerran Pool. Details below, including a link to a survey for those interested. "Council is delighted to announce that the Millmerran Aquatic Centre will be re-opening for the summer season on Wednesday 11 November. ... Temporary repair works have been finalised and we look forward to welcoming you to the facility soon. Specific times are as follows: Wednesday 11 to Friday 27 November - ‘Lifeguard only’ services Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 1pm - 5pm No canteen or programs such as Learn to Swim From Saturday 28 November full services Opening hours: Monday Friday: 6am 8am & 12pm - 6pm Saturday: 10am 5pm Sunday: 10am 5pm Public holidays: 10am 4pm Venue will be closed Christmas Day and Good Friday We thank the community for their patience during the repair works. What does the future of the centre look like? Have your say Toowoomba Regional Council is upgrading the almost 60-year-old community facility. We know the current model was the best type of facility for the community at that time, but we need to make sure we get it right for this generation and future generations. Council is eager to find out how the facility is currently being used and what the Millmerran community and surrounding districts are looking for in a new facility. We have created a project page for your information, please click here to find out more. The community is encouraged to provide feedback on the future of the Millmerran Aquatic Centre via this survey. Alternatively, you can also visit the Millmerran Customer Service Centre, 2-16 Campbell Street, Millmerran or by calling 131 872 and quoting ‘Millmerran Aquatic Centre’. Come and talk with the project team Our project team will also be out and about in Millmerran gathering information from now until the end of consultation. Come and talk with the team on Saturday 21 November outside the Millmerran Customer Service Centre from 9am until 10:30am. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your feedback. You have until COB Friday 11 December 2020 to have your say. Should you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact Council on 131 872. https://yoursay.tr.qld.gov.au//survey_to/what-s-the-future

23.01.2022 Massive congrats to Tiffany for completing her 1st Ironman distance event on the weekend with Brendan keeping her company for his 6th Ironman distance event. They did their own Ironman from Noosa on Saturday in place of the Busselton Ironman that should have happened on the weekend. These guys swam 3.8km in Laguna Bay, rode 182km and ran 42.2km!! Huge effort given the heat, and ably supported by Trevor on the kayak and at the impromptu aid stations.

17.01.2022 A massive shout out to our large contingent of Toowoomba triathletes competing in this weekends Cairns Ironman and 70.3. We will be watching from afar. Download the Ironman app to track athlete progress during the day, which has a much later start this year due to tides. Massive case of FOMO here too (Julian)

08.01.2022 Ok so we may have got a bit excited and jumped the gun earlier...but we can now officially announce that our very own, the Dalby Dolphin Mitch Hemmings has been selected in the Triathlon Queensland Team! A big congratulations to Mitch, his family, coach Bron Henschell and supporters for this huge achievement! After an exceptional performance at Rainbow Beach Triathlon few weeks back watch this space with some big things to come from young gun Mitch this year. ... Chapeau Mitch from all of us here at TTC

08.01.2022 Our coaching sessions are coming back!! The transition is the forgotten leg in most people’s preparation but it can cost you valuable seconds and some uneasiness if your aren’t prepared. Stay tuned for dates.

08.01.2022 An honour to present the Prue Jenkins memorial trophy to Emily Lowe tonight! Prue was a dedicated TA official and dedicated volunteer of our club for many years and helped make many our great events happen

08.01.2022 Public tracing alert!!! If you are intending to come to todays duathlon, but have been at either of the 2 Toowoomba locations at the date and times listed, please stay away and get checked. Thanks

08.01.2022 Another interesting read. Training hard, then you may need to supplement your salt intake to replace that lost during periods of intense activity. Sitting on the couch for a few months thinking about that next tri, then you might want to back off

07.01.2022 Great turnout today at our 1st duathlon under the new rules, with over 50 regos. Hope you all had a great afternoon!! Thanks for coming and to everyone for doing the right thing.

06.01.2022 Regos are open! Event has been sanctioned by Triathlon Queensland! Who’s coming?? Saturday the 29th - from 1:30pm ish

05.01.2022 Aside from an awesome event of our own today, checkout Chris’s effort in the USA, aiming to become the first person with DS to complete an Ironman. What a legend!!

05.01.2022 We have a new tri in the region. Check it out!!

04.01.2022 Good luck to everyone racing tomorrow. From those tackling a very hot Ironman in Cairns to a few stirring up Moreton Bay at the club championships. Race safe, and have fun!!

03.01.2022 Good luck to all our Toowoomba Tri Club athletes competing at next weekends IRONMAN in Cairns. This is an awesome destination for an Ironman with the most spectacular bike course, and a pretty flat run.

02.01.2022 With the season kicking off again and our first triathlon coming up, a proper bike fit can make a massive difference to comfort, speed & endurance. Custom Bike Fit will be back in Toowoomba for a couple of days. Book in a session - you won’t regret it!

02.01.2022 Well done Max Richardson, Jason Phillips - 1st place in your age groups!! An Jon Lane (ADF as well) for his 3rd place! Can we take credit for Dominic Churchett & Tom Ronnfeldt Who also shares equal 3rd place ?

01.01.2022 The first club committee meeting last night was a raging success! Going to be some big things happening with the club this year! To demonstrate the club’s commitment to being Covid safe, greater transparency and increasing engagement with our membership group, the first ever zoom meeting was held online and streamed via Facebook live. We encourage our members to be involved and have your say and we will share the time and link when the next meeting is held
