19.01.2022 Under 6 Green Match Report - 1st August 2020 For the majority of our Chargers this is their first year playing Rugby League and it was definitely a long a...nd unpredictable preseason. However, they kept their spirits up and trained extremely hard to develop their skills and understanding of the game. This week they were jumping out of their skin to play and faced Narellan and Appin. We set a goal of making our tackles and setting our defensive line ready for the next play. These little Chargers did just that and regularly defended the full set without conceding a try which was a fantastic effort. Equally impressive was their ability to identify gaps in the defence and run hard and fast. Noah, Charlie, Isaac, Ethan and Lyana scores a try, Halo scored a double and Ashton, Raven and Jordan all had big runs. Our Player of the Week was Noah for his try, one on one tackles and try savers. The McDonalds Award went to Halo for her determination not to be tackled, powering through the whole team for a try and Lyana for her impressive first game, scoring a try and making her tackles.
