12.01.2022 A massive thank you to Kidzfix Rally for their donation. Kidzfix is a a not for profit organisation established to support sick and disadvantaged children in... Australia. The donation has been used to purchase ASQ TRAK kits for every Community Health Centre. ASQ TRAK kits are a developmental screening tool specifically developed for Aboriginal children. It provides our best opportunity to tackle the health inequities t...hat we know persist across our communities, particularly for Aboriginal people. Early intervention in early life can have both short-term and lifelong benefits. That's why a donation made today by the KidzFix Foundation will have such profound benefits for children and families right across the Western NSW Local Health District! The donation from KidzFix has been used to purchase an ASQ Trak kit - a developmental screening tool specifically developed for Aboriginal children - for every Community Health Centre in the Western NSW LHD. The first of the ASQ Trak kits was officially handed over today by KidzFix managing director, Dubbo's own David Ward! The kits will be a valuable resource for Child and Family Health Nurses who provide regular developmental health checks for children aged 0-5 years!
