22.01.2022 Cooking something amazing this steamy FNQ Saturday. We are headed to our regular ‘Platter-Q’ at a friends house, so I thought I would make the Cranberry & Rosemary Chutney to take along. I also grabbed some little jars at the cheap shop to fill with various creations so I will put the leftovers in them to give out on Christmas Day. How awesome is it to be able to ‘weigh, set & forget’ recipes like these instead of watching them on the stove for an hour?!... Photos and a little video to come
22.01.2022 First time for everything. Mr 4 and I made some gingerbread cookies. We are still recovering from Clarke’s cookie cutting skills, the icing can wait a day or so We now have to make some plain Xmas cookies because the ginger is ‘too spicy’ for him. Lucky his little sister will eat anything even if she feels the spice or not
21.01.2022 This is what a super quick kids meal looks like for me with a Thermomix! No double boilers, multiple saucepans or microwave containers here Potato & Sweet Potato in the bowl... Corn cobs & Peas in the deep steaming tray Broccoli, Cauliflower, Zucchini in the top tray added at 7 minutes remaining Healthy yet super fast! (Adults are having the same veggies but with Lamb Chops on the charcoal)

19.01.2022 Boiling eggs, packing lunch boxes and for some silly reason thought it was a great idea to turn the leftover mushroom risotto into arancini! I think my reasoning was so that I could free up room in the fridge. What multitasking can you do in the kitchen with your Thermomix?

17.01.2022 Hot tip: If you have a few extra mouths to feed throughout the school holidays, pizza is a handy budget meal. My tip is to use the Pizza Bianca recipe for the base, it’s really quick and minimal rise time.... Also, if you have no pizza sauce and no time to make, just mix a tsp of stock paste into 2 tbs tomato paste. Ham & Cheese Pizza served up for lunch, it was just about gone in 2 mins flat!
09.01.2022 2 birds with 1 stone... Daycare lunches are a struggle on Monday mornings. It’s basically what ever I have left in the fridge. Boiled eggs and a piece of corn at the same time using the Boiled Eggs recipe on Cookidoo.
05.01.2022 Souvlaki Marinade in Thermie = Charcoal Chicken Drumsticks for dinner tonight. Stay tuned for the finished result! This marinade took 5 mins to make, all ingredients were found in my pantry or fridge. It’s one of my favourite reasons to own a Thermomix. Eliminate the jar sauce and make it from scratch at home. No sugar or preservatives! Double batch made for the freezer!
01.01.2022 Has anyone jumped on the ‘add lentils to bulk up your spag bol’ band wagon? Cos, same. 500g Beef Zucchini, capsicum, mushroom, onion, garlic 1 tin of lentils... Crushed tomatoes, purée & paste Chicken Stock Herbs I don’t know about you, but the silly season sees me trying to get the kids fed and bathed quickly and painlessly so I can have some brain space to be semi organised for the big guy in red. Comment below, your favourite FAST, HEALTHY & Budget friendly meal. We all could do with a little inspo!

01.01.2022 I started as a Thermomix Consultant in September 2019. I soon realised I had a passion for bringing the TM6 into peoples lives. Along the way, I set myself a goal of 50 sales by the end of September 2020. Even through Covid & moving to Cooktown during isolation I managed to achieve amazing results. On the eave of the last day of September, I am sitting on 48 sales. I am so proud of my efforts but I am still pushing (and maybe a little praying ) to hit the big 5-0.
