24.01.2022 Heres a finished Ring Cycles quilt. One of the patterns I sell. The pattern designer is Lessa Siegele. The maker of this magnificent version is Lori Kestila. This had been in the making on and off for her for a couple of years. Pattern is Ring Cycles by Less a Siegele, a version of Jacks Chain. Mostly Kaffe Fassett fabrics. King sized version. Weve even looked after the Hawthorn footy supporter this time This lot.. from Robyns Recliner Knitters are destined for dementia and Alzheimer patients at the PA Hospital in Brisbane!... We havent sent these there before, but they loved our busy blankets / dementia mats so much that we thought these might come in handy too. Special shout out to Lorna, Joan and friends from the Pacific Palms retirement village. Thank you so much xx ... I am a nurse at the PA in Brisbane who, in May, asked for a bit of help donating fabric and making busy blankets for our patients with dementia and delirium. ... Well didnt I get some help!! I cannot thank you all enough for all the time, materials and LOVE you have put into your creations! Every single blanket you have made is very much appreciated! I delivered the blankets to our dementia and delirium department and the blankets were all snapped up in a day by the wards. Im going to make more blankets for more wards in our hospital if anyone is interested in continuing to help Your blankets are being loved and used every day. So I thought they would be nice filled with "things" for the DV unit in Toowoomba.
