25.01.2022 And thats a wrap on the year! A massive thanks to all of our wonderful clients for making our first year in business as great as it has been. Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe holiday. Cheers, The Two Shovels Team

24.01.2022 Here are some before and after shots of a job in Corniubia. This retaining wall was in desperate need of replacement. We constructed the works with the help of our earth works partners at All Combo Equipment Earthmoving.

23.01.2022 A little something my amazingly talented neighbour has made for our front fence. What a legend!

23.01.2022 Stage 2. Excavation, framing and the roof going up.

22.01.2022 ATTENTION S.E QLD!!! Just a little message from us at Two Shovels to alert you all that due to the recent weather army worm or lawn grub is on the rise in a big way at the moment. If you notice patches or in some cases large sections of your lawn dying look for little wasps hovering above your lawn. A good way to test for them is to put a damp cloth over an affected area for a few hours. The nocturnal grubs will think its night and rise to the surface. Please treat your lawn as soon as possible if this is the case. Weve seen some pretty bad damage this week from them already. Feel free to call Ben on 0421482665 if you would like any more information on this

21.01.2022 A nice green transition weve done recently. Just waiting on the custom fence panels and the kids are ready to get the cricket set out!

20.01.2022 Looking to liven up the entrance to your property while increasing security? We just installed these custom made automatic swing gates along with a lockable pedestrian gate. The matching custom fence panels make the dam look fantastic. For any of your fencing or landscaping needs call Two Shovels on 0421482665

20.01.2022 Not our usual thing but here is a kit shed we installed this week. 6 x 9 meters with double roller door. Came out beautifully.

18.01.2022 Hi All, we have recently joined Google My Business. If we have done any work for you in the past we would sincerely appreciate it if you jumped over to our page and left us a positive review! Cheers, Ben - Two Shovels Landscaping

17.01.2022 As it was to how it is. Concrete sleeper retainers with new hardwood timber stairs including stainless steel ballistrade. Its amazing how much space you can reclaim from your yard when you flatten unusable areas. If this is something that interests you get in touch today.

17.01.2022 First job for the year done and dusted! This retaining wall had seen better days. We breathed some new life into this pool area by replacing it with timber look concrete sleepers. Do you have a pool area that could use some attention? Give us a call today.

17.01.2022 Custom made overflow bubbler water feature with in ground sump pit and automated pump.

16.01.2022 Big day on the shovels! Wed usually use a concrete truck to get posts like these in but with the threat of up to 20mm of rain doing it by hand was the only safe option. 3 cubic meters of hand mixing (and not a drop of rain) later were ready to build a wall tomorrow

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I hope your all well. Its been a bit quiet from the Two Shovels camp of late so I thought I would drop you all a line to say hi and let you know how we are travelling. Hi! We are still open in a smaller capacity but have stopped a large job we had started 2 days in out of interest of public safety due to the pandemic and doing our bit to flatten the curve. I am still doing site meetings practicing social distancing to provide quotes on the basis that you are of ...a low risk household with no members of your family having low immunity, or anyone elder or very young at serious risk. Its a bit more difficult to schedule what is happening and when its happening at the moment due to deciding the safest course of action for all, but Im doing my best and we are managing in that regard. So far we have just been building a backlog of jobs to do when the time is right for both our clients and the interests of everyones safety. That being said, in the right circumstances we are happy to start smaller jobs as soon as schedule permits we can as long as both parties agree its safe to do so. In the meantime I thought Id share a few images of how Ive been keeping myself busy. Ive built a small hobby farm in the yard and have acquired 3 lovely little ladies. Ive also been doing a lot of research into aesthetically pleasing sustainable gardening which Im really hoping is a trend that takes off as Ive really enjoyed making this. Ive made 5 different posts with stages of the job as there are to many photos to post in one file. Enjoy the photos, and stay safe! Cheers, Ben - Two Shovels Landscaping

14.01.2022 Heres a new insulated roof we installed on a job this week from the friendly team at Smart Kits Australia. A great way to extend your usable outdoor area for all weather.

13.01.2022 Stage 3. Cultivation of soil, installation of gates and planting.

12.01.2022 A nice transformation to re-gain some space in the backyard. Still struggling to move 2 days later after moving over 5 tonnes of concrete sleepers down a steep hill, but the hard works over and done! Looking great.

12.01.2022 Stage 5. Convincing the girls to hop of my arm and use their new home. Mission complete!

10.01.2022 Spent a bit of time over the break giving the Shovelmobile a professional new look. If anyones in need of anything sticker related I highly recommend Stick-Dat. Find them on Facebook, online at stick-dat.com.au or call Kyle on 0413501708. Ive been going through him for years now. Awesome service, quality products and great value for money. Thanks again mate!

10.01.2022 Here are some before and after shots of a nice little garden transformation we finished recently in Annerley using hardwood sleepers to create new gardens, as well as maintain the existing ones. We completely stripped the front lawn, undertook a full plant out tailored to our clients needs for privacy screening and covering fences with climbers and hedging varieties, and finished with mulch and gravel for a fresh new look.

09.01.2022 Another happy client! It was a privilege to work on this masterpiece in Bridgman Downs for Jan Conroy of Conroy Dance Centre. Pleased to say she is as happy with it as we are.

07.01.2022 Watch this space! This feature is well on its way to becoming an outdoor sun room, partly covered in colour bond roofing containing lighting. The walls feature custom made cilidrical metal frames acting as view windows to the other side where flowering climbers have lattice to eventually cover the fence.

06.01.2022 Painted up, stage one of the roof finished, and looking smart... (even if we do say so ourselves)

05.01.2022 Feature walls coming along nicely. Although it looks like Matt may have just been hit in the man parts hes actually trying to get an air hose to connect to the nail gun. They can be a bit tricky.

05.01.2022 Stage 4. Building the hen house

02.01.2022 Stage one. Set out, excavation, and acquiring the little ladies (Cluck Norris, Feather Locklear, and Egg-xavior)
