25.01.2022 What a year 2020 has been. For some it can’t pass quickly enough but for me while navigating its ups and downs it has been a cracker year! The resilience of my couples has been incredible to witness. I am so grateful to each and every one of you for powering on when at times things seemed impossible. There’s no doubt it’s been incredibly challenging and upsetting too, so for those who had to postpone their big days I look forward to hanging with you for wedding 2.0! I can’t thank my fabulous team enough for riding the 2020 wave along side me. @carlystirling & @hello.dani.chidlow thank you for the amazing memories you have captured this year, your support and your friendship. Wishing everyone a safe a happy holidays. I’m taking a little break but will be back before we welcome the new year. Much love, Fiona x

24.01.2022 Wedding 2.0 went off without a hitch and without a drop of rain but maybe a little bit of snow. James & Dani have been total champs from day dot. After hoping to go ahead with their original date back in June, to potentially postponing a year, then to snagging an early spring date I was still available for - woohoo! The umbrellas weren’t needed and they said their vows in the sunshine as loved ones watched on. Then what can I say about the venue...Al Ru Farm absolutely turned it on for them! I’ve never seen the garden look so spectacular!! The hard work making it looked so picture perfect definitely paid off. Thanks to everyone involved for a truly magical day

20.01.2022 Some people ask me about the most memorable weddings I’ve shot...well Becky & Matt’s Waikerie wedding is definitely up there. First the international borders sadly stopped Becky’s family coming from the UK but they decided to push on. Then came the news that their wedding couldn’t go ahead on Saturday. But then...a miracle happened...the pizza guy fessed up and the lockdown was over at the stroke of midnight! All systems were GO! Friends & family pulled together what they cou...ld and it was absolutely beautiful! But wait...there’s more... Where do I start with the weather...? It was hot...then we had refreshing rain during the ceremony, then hot sun, then a HUGE thunderstorm, a couple of power outs, wind, smoke(!!), then it absolutely bucketed down and thankfully the smoke disappeared! They had it all! These guys are the most resilient people I know and the whole day there were nothing but smiles. I’m so happy to have been part of their memorable day and damn certain they can get through anything life throws at them And to everyone involved, you guys rock!! See more

20.01.2022 Despite the iffy weather in early spring I love photographing in September. Thankfully it was a dry day however there was not a dry eye to be seen! For Jenn & Kris family is super important and I could see how close they all were during their intimate ceremony. We waited until sunset before we headed out into the lush crops surrounding @thebarns.freeling a beautiful new @venyusecrets listing.

19.01.2022 Oh my what just happened here in SA the past 48hrs...?? Am I dreaming?? All the emotions!! Sooo it looks like it’s all back on from midnight Saturday but that still means weddings, events, work etc planned just before this have been badly affected. I feel for everyone who has missed out on something they’ve been looking forward to for a long long time BUT despite the s**t storm we will come out the other side without prolonged restrictions. 19.01.2022 More early spring weddings please! @alru_farm cranked it up to as they lead up to their open garden. Dani & James hit the jackpot when they scored their wedding the day before it. So many hours of hard work definitely paid off, it was truly stunning

14.01.2022 Congrats to these two champs who married over the weekend! Aurelie & Andy opted for a small & simple gathering in the Botanic Gardens followed by their reception at The Kentish - Wine Shed. A super cute room where the drinks were flowing and the food looked amazing! Perfect for 60 of their best. The North Adelaide streets after hours never disappoint. After a couple of rum & cokes we headed outside the hotel for some last light pics

13.01.2022 Thinking back to this time last year when we were much more carefree and life just seemed simpler... Pre Covid I would always ask couples remain adaptable on the day which usually refers to the weather and timelines, however this season being adaptable is a bit different. Restrictions that are changing weekly have made things challenging for everyone involved. As unfortunate as this is I feel extremely lucky and thankful that the majority of my fabulous couples are pushing on and making the best of the situation we are all in. I can’t wait to share their tales with you all!

They were born in the middle of the pandemic making it difficult for friends and family to see them or even help out. 07.01.2022 It was a busy end to last week with not one but two beautiful weddings! Lauren & Nick tied the knot on Saturday at the Monastery then strutted their stuff through the Botanic Gardens to the Wine Centre. Big thanks to these good eggs and their loved ones for making this day so special for this perfect pair

06.01.2022 Wow! What a day was Saturday for these stars - Anna & Brad But more accurately what a build up! Their plans to get hitched on their property at Finniss were changed about 6 times! With COVID restrictions altering every week you’d think the stress would have gotten to these guys, but no! Instead they took it in their stride, knowing they’d still get married no matter if all their guests could attend or only a handful. Luckily they were able to execute the original plan with a week to go. Necessary tweaks were made and the addition of a marquee put up at last minute after hearing rain was forecast. The end product was simply beautiful! I can not thank these guys enough for being the incredibly laidback people they are. What a tale to tell for years to come x

04.01.2022 Everyone was jumping for joy on Friday when Sarah & James’s day finally arrived! The original date in April sadly could not go ahead due to the stinkin’ virus...but fast forward 7 months (an eternity for these guys) and they finally got their fairytale with ‘Wedding take 2’! Nothing but smiles, oh and maybe a few tears from James hehe, a bridal party who were up for a cracking good time and families oozing with pride and adoration for these two amazing people.
