05.01.2022 LEGO League Due to restrictions the regional LEGO League competition was held remotely. Students submitted a video of their robot game missions demonstrating the challenges they could complete using a LEGO EV3 robot and attachments built and coded by themselves. They had 2 minutes and 30seconds to score as many points as possible in this phase. They then presented their projects to the judges via zoom. In this phase students had to complete an innovation project on the topi...c of how can we increase physical activity in our school? and present their research, solution and findings to the judges in a creative presentation. This involved the creation of a Boccer (basketball x soccer) tournament, educating students and community about the importance of sleep and sourcing fruit donations to be distributed at school and promote healthy choices. Students did a fantastic job, learnt a lot and adapted well to the remote changes. Mrs Fowler See more
