25.01.2022 McDonalds Willetton- You know when the Golden Arches go up, you are nearly finished. Tydan are in the last week of the program and the transformation is nearly complete. 25.01.2022 Throwback Friday- Harvest Lakes Medical Centre & Aim Dental Group. In 2015 Tydan constructed an 850m2 Medical Centre in Harvest Lakes, the Centre consisted of seven consulting rooms, two dental rooms, day surgery facilities, pathology room, upstairs staff amenities and a pharmacy. Tydan completed the overall building as well as all the internal fit out works ready for the operator Jupiter Health and Medical Services to move in. Also in 2015, Tydan constructed our first Dental Surgery for the Aim Dental Group in Woodvale. We went on to construct the Maddington and Merredin surgeries in 2017, these works all involved the full fit out of the surgeries including the consulting rooms with dental chairs, X-ray room and staff facilities. All completed ready for Aim Dental to move in. #tydanconstructions

25.01.2022 BP Kardinya- The walls of the shop went up this week with the steel work commencing Thursday and below ground tanks being installed on Friday.

25.01.2022 Throwback Friday- Minara Resources, Murrin Murrin Mine Site. As a site supervisor with Highline (way back when) I was asked to finish this project. I spent 8 weeks on site completing the heavy & light vehicle workshops, fire tanks and pumps, air and hydraulic services and a wash down facility. I learned an incredible amount about the mining industry and construction on mine sites, it was a very valuable experience. At Tydan Constructions our staff have over 30 years combined experience in mine site infrastructure work. #Tydanconstructions

24.01.2022 McDonald’s Murdoch- Murdoch is looking awesome with the front of house Décor works nearing completion, tiling is pretty much completed and electrical, mechanical & hydraulic final fit offs are all underway. 24.01.2022 Nicholson Central- Tydan Constructions started stage one of Nicholson Central in Canning Vale last week, the first stage of the development consists of a BP Fuel Station, Autobahn & Sagewood Early Learning Centre. We look forward to sharing progress in the coming months. #tydanconstructions

23.01.2022 BP Kardinya has been a busy site this week. Earthworks are underway, pre lays & footings have been completed for the new shop and the site stormwater system has been installed. The tank farm excavation commences next week as well the shop floor slab in preparation for the delivery of the tilt panel walls.

23.01.2022 Flashback Friday- BP Kenwick- I visited BP Kenwick this week as part of the 12 Month Defects Liability Inspection and 12 months on from Tydan Constructions completing the project the development still looks fantastic. It’s a credit to the BP staff for the way they are maintaining the facility. Walking around the site it was great to see the truck canopy being heavily used with trucks lining up to fill up. One road train truck driver commented to me how good the turning circle... into the site is (except there was a car in the way- which I promptly moved!!!). This project 12 months ago ran very smoothly and was one of four projects that had Christmas completion deadlines. 22.01.2022 McDonald’s Tapping- McDonald’s Tapping is looking awesome with the front of house Décor works well underway, landscaping commenced, tiling pretty much completed and electrical & hydraulic fit off underway. All is tracking on program, well done and thank you to our Tydan team and valued subcontractors and suppliers. All three McDonald’s Restaurants that Tydan Constructions are completing are coming into their final couple of weeks, this is always the most challenging time for our Tydan staff, valued sub-contractors, McDonald’s Australia and the McDonald’s licensee’s and their staff. 22.01.2022 McDonalds Albany- The Tydan Constructions site staff, consultants and the McDonalds Australia team have been working pretty hard the last two weeks to overcome some adverse site conditions. By the end of next week the retaining walls will be complete and the site filled to the top of the limestone block walls. Storm water works & slab pre lays are programmed to commence the following week. #tydanconstructions #imlovinit

21.01.2022 McDonalds Murdoch- Tydan Constructions kicked off the McDonalds Murdoch project last week. The pad preparation is complete and plumbing pre-lays are underway. This new McDonalds family restaurant will be a great addition to the Murdoch community. #tydanconstructions #imlovinit

21.01.2022 Throw Back Friday -Jindalee Commercial Centre Tydan constructed this project back in 2010. The overall development consisted of car parks, a large retaining wall to the rear of the block, all the services to Hungry Jacks and the then proposed KFC, 2x two storey retail buildings and a single storey retail building with a bottle shop drive thru. All works were completed on time as per the 40 week program ready for tenants to commence their fit out works. The development, designed by Hindley & Associates still looks awesome and it was great to see many of the original tenants still part of the development.

21.01.2022 Tapping- Tydan Constructions has commenced the civil works on the Tapping Development on Wanneroo Road. The works consist of demolishing the existing structures on site, constructing new retaining walls, bulk fill to the site and installing all the required services for the future developments. #tydanconstructions

21.01.2022 Tapping Forward Works- What a difference two weeks has made, the retaining walls are all but complete and backfilling the site has commenced. The first pad has been created and the internal roadway has had its soak wells installed and subbase is being laid in readiness for the concrete paving. The service run in works are due to commence in the next two weeks. #tydanconstructions

20.01.2022 MCD Albany- We broke ground last week, then the heavens opened up. Albany experienced 83mm of rain over a 24 hour period and broke a 16 year old rain fall record. Since starting on site Albany has had over 112mm of rain!!!. Construction is full of surprises and challenges which keeps things interesting and keeps us on our toes. The site is pretty soggy but our Tydan Constructions site team and sub contractors are pushing on and flying through the retaining wall works. Well done team. #tydanconstructions #imlovinit

19.01.2022 Tapping Forward Works- The last of the retaining walls will be completed this week, back filling is nearly complete. Water and sewer services have been installed and the common driveways are commencing early next week. #tydanconstructions

17.01.2022 Ellenbrook Childcare- Works on site have been progressing at a steady pace, retaining walls are underway, footings have been poured and the floor slab is being poured today. 16.01.2022 Nicholson Central- Demolition is complete and Tydan Constructions look forward to commencing earthworks and ground services for the BP Fuel Station, Autobahn & Sagewood Early Learning Centre. #tydanconstructions

16.01.2022 BP Kardinya- The site is changing on a weekly basis, all the steel work is complete with the canopy being installed earlier this week. Fuel system installation is in full swing as well as the earth works ready for concrete paving to start next week. The cool room and freezer have been installed in the shop as well as all the internal walls with the glass windows and external doors being installed today.

16.01.2022 KFC Armadale- Tydan constructed KFC Armadale on the corner of Eighth & Armadale Roads in the Southern Suburbs of Perth back in 2012. At the time this was the flagship design for Yum! Restaurants, this project however was a little different. Once the project was at lock up with pretty much the back of house completed the project was put on hold for 3-4 months, during this time the front of house was totally re-designed. The end result provided a edgy modern looking interior, something that is common place now in fast food restaurants.

15.01.2022 McDonald’s Albany- With internal tiling well underway, this week is set to be a big week for McDonald’s Albany. Front of house Décor works will commence this week along with the completion of the concrete footpaths and other concrete bits and pieces. The electricians will be down in Albany completing the lighting and fixture fit off in readiness of powering up the building in the next week or so. 14.01.2022 McDonald’s Tapping- The familiar painted red band has appeared at McDonald’s Tapping. The painters are working their way through the external painting while internally the ceiling guys are completing their ceilings and external soffit lining, tilers are finishing off the back of house floor & wall tiling and the glazing guys are finishing off the internal windows. 14.01.2022 BP Kardinya- Another busy week working around the rain, the site has dramatically changed since last week with three quarters of the external concrete paving completed. The retail shop is currently being fitted off with internal painting commencing on Friday.

13.01.2022 McDonald’s Albany- Seen this picture before? With Tydan Constructions building three nearly identical McDonald’s restaurants all at the same time & stage you can be forgiven for thinking you have seen these pictures before. Difference with this one is it’s being built in beautiful Albany. As you can see the external painting has commenced, glazing, floor & wall tiling all commencing early next week. 13.01.2022 St Johns Midland- Tydan Constructions started St Johns Midland Urgent Care Centre last week and the Tydan Team have made a solid start with the Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical works all proceeding as planned. 12.01.2022 BP Kardinya- The underground fuel system will be complete this week, a large portion of the site now has been prepared for the concrete paving and the concreters are well into forming up the first area to pour early next week. In the retail shop, ceilings and cabinet works are complete and the wall tiling is well underway. Its all coming together nicely. #tydanconstructions

11.01.2022 Throwback Friday- McDonalds Butler. McDonalds Butler was our first ever project for McDonalds Australia back in August of 2012 and our first ever McDonalds new build, boy have they changed since 2012. The restaurant consisted of a 64 seat dining area, outdoor area, playground under the main roof, back of house facilities such as the kitchen, cool room, freezer and a staff training area and a double lane drive thru. I vividly remember the licensee bringing out food for all... the guys on site every Friday, everybody agreed it was the best Tydan project to work on at the time!!!. 10.01.2022 McDonalds Willetton- The old front elevation that has served the restaurant well for many years has almost disappeared. The new modern elevation and new restaurant interior will warmly welcome customers and for the kids there is a brand new Playland on the way. It is always challenging renovating an operating restaurant, particularly during a pandemic! 10.01.2022 BP Kardinya- The retail shop steel work is complete and the roof is on, lock up is expected at the end of next week. Canopy footings and canopy columns are being installed this week and works on the fuel system will continue next week. All according to plan!!!

10.01.2022 Throwback Friday- Shenton Park We built this project for the Bellerby Family back in May of 2009. The existing Health & Fitness establishment was demolished and the older existing section of the building, once a local shop was retained. We constructed a new two storey office incorporating the existing former shop which was fully renovated. The families company Bellcourt Property Group moved in late 2009 and has gone from strength to strength opening other offices in the Perth Metro area. Visiting the building this week it still looks great 11 years on. # bellcourtpropertygroup #tydanconstructions

09.01.2022 Throwback Friday- McDonalds Melville. Seems like yesterday Tydan Constructions built the McDonalds Melville behind the existing 30+ year old original restaurant. This project built in 2015 had many challenges and client expectations. The Drive Thru to the original restaurant had to remain open throughout the build, a certain number of car parking bays had to be maintained for customers, once the new restaurant was finished the old restaurant had to be demolished (while the ...new one remained open) and we had to build the front car park (where the original restaurant was) whilst maintaining the new Drive Thru and limited parking for the customers. All tricky and all successfully managed by the Tydan team. The project received a few accolades the following year- *At the time, it was the biggest McDonalds restaurant in Australia & New Zealand. *Australian Institute of Building Award Winner in the category of Commercial Construction $1 million to $10 million. *Best Public Relations campaign for a restaurant opening - Perths newest Burger Bar. #tydanconstructions #imlovinit See more

07.01.2022 Broadway Self Storage- Tydan Constructions delivered this project in late 2009, our first full year of business. The Self-Storage Facility consisted of a ground and 1st floor, goods lift, office and toilet facilities as well as a very extensive security & CCTV package. The internal storage units where fitted out by STORCO as Tydan completed the external works. 11 years on the facility still looks great. #tydanconstructions

04.01.2022 Ellenbrook Childcare- The Nido Early Learning Centre is coming together nicely, I really love the street presence of this building which is a credit to Insite Architects. The painters are working their way through the internal & external areas, internal tiling is almost complete and the vinyl floors are progressing throughout the building. Externally the Playground/Landscaping guys are working their magic with a wonderfully designed playground which will soon include engaging landscaping for the children to enjoy. #tydanconstructions #hbb #nido

03.01.2022 McDonalds Willetton- What a difference two weeks makes!!!!. When undertaking a project like this you are coming into a licensees world (business) and causing mayhem, mayhem to customer access, Drive Thru shut downs, limiting car parking and ultimately affecting the sales. Its a very unique situation. When talking to the licensees yesterday David & Janiene Pollock, they described this seemly chaotic process as being very smooth, our staff going above and beyond and a fun experience working with Tydan. 01.01.2022 BP Kardinya- Another busy week at Kardinya, the concrete paving has all but been completed as has the canopy. The shop is starting to look like a BP shop with the green entry statement to be unveiled later this week. Branding signage will be commencing next week and that familiar look of the BP Petrol Station that has been missing for the last 17 weeks will return to South Street. #tydanconstructions

01.01.2022 Ellenbrook Childcare- Tydan Constructions broke ground last week on the new Ellenbrook Nido Childcare Centre located on the Promenade. This 87 place centre will provide the Ellenbrook Community a premium standard of early childhood education and experiences. 01.01.2022 Flashback Friday- Jindalee Central- Tydan Construction’s built Jindalee Central in 2014 to mid-2015. The project had a number of site complexities, multi-level sloping site, maintaining a residential street for local access whilst at the same time ripping it up and redesigning it to become part of the development, and redesigning the building to allow a speedy construction method that enabled Tydan Constructions to meet the drop dead completion date. This project really showed that with the right team of Designers, Consultants, Sub-Contractors and a great Site Manager mountains can be moved and seemly unattainable budgets & completion times where achieved for our valued Tydan client. It’s a great looking building that oozes street presence, even now five years after completion. #tydanconstructions
