25.01.2022 Case Study: An entrepreneur with a tech background had noticed that his colleagues had shown frustration with the amount of tabs they were keeping open on a regular basis. He wanted to test how wide this potential problem was and thus the proportion of people who keep enough tabs open at a time to become a pain (defined as 8 or more). They signed up with Test Your Ideas and asked 75 frequent internet browser users how many tabs they usually keep open at a time. Results showed... that 23% of people keep at least 8 tabs open at a time, reflecting nearly a quarter of all internet users. The entrepreneur now intends to conduct follow up research to find out how frustrated these users are with the amount of tabs they have open and whether they are looking for a solution to this problem.
